I have a Kubota L2500DT tractor. The OEM stabilizer broke and my disc is very heavy. When it moves left or right when raised as I’m turning around in my garden, when it reaches the limit, it is a big hit. I can feel when the stabilizer stops the movement. My disc weighs around 850 lbs. I wanted to find a stabilizer that was a little more heavy duty. I bought this and I must say, I’m impressed.
It is heavier than my old one. Some parts of it are also larger than the OEM one. It fit perfectly on my L2500DT tractor. The bolts that bolt onto the arms is a bit long but other than that, it is a perfect fit. I could cut the bolt to make it shorter but my bar and it’s attachments fit on there just fine. It just sticks out a lot.
If you have a heavy attachment, like my disc, on your tractor that puts a lot of pressure on and breaks the OEM stabilizer, this is a awesome replacement. This is a lot better than the OEM. I’m including a picture of the old and new one plus a couple pictures of it on my tractor. Pictures can say a lot.
If I run into any problems, I’ll update. Based on the weight and size of the parts used to make it and the nice welds, this should last me a long time. It does just what I need from the OEM, just built heavier.
Also, there are a lot of tractors that are very similar to the L2500. I think the L2501 is very close to this one. I’m sure other brands of tractors are also very similar since there is a standard for these attachment points. Mine is a 25 HP tractor but I suspect this would work fine even on a larger 40 HP or so tractor.
