This bird bath is very easy to put together and my birds love it. The fountain is solar powered but has no battery backup,so when there isn’t any sun its motor makes a grinding noise as it’s trying to function. In my case, I find the fountain useless because it takes up most of the space in the bird bath. I watched as my birds tried to take baths one wing at a time because of the fountain being in way. Also,I’ve only had the bird bath for a few months and one of the ground posts broke off. Mine is in my yard and I have to move it due to mowing,but the posts will probably be fine if you don’t have to move it. All in all, it’s still standing and all my birds love it from the black birds to the finches.
Good, but short charge
This birdfeeder adds a nice touch to our garden however, we live on a busy street so I have to keep it in an area that’s not too obvious to passer-bys so it is tucked in an area that gets morning to early afternoon sun.
By 5pm, the fountain isn’t working so the solar panel doesn’t hold a very long charge which is disappointing. This would be better in a full sun location to enjoy all day.
Works great, water flowed nicely over the tiered fountain. It’s solar so be sure to have water in it, mine made a loud noise before putting in water. Turn upside down, if that happens, it’s reacting to the light. I might add, first day out, a large blackbird landed in it. Lol
This is an updated review. The seller reached out to me and was willing to send me a new Bird Bath to correct an issue I had with the original one. I received the new unit on 6/22/26. Much better than the original Bird Bath. I feel that they went above and beyond to rectify the situation of the old bird bath. I believe the original solar powered fountain was defective and the plastic bath itself was kind of brittle where it attached to the base. The new one does not have these issues. Thank you very much!
