Product description

Lovely fountain! Works grea
I love this solar fountain!! It’s worth the money, easy to set up and looks great when it’s on!
You have several different options for the setup. Choose one and see how it works!
OK small pump ...with some limitations related to sunlight availablity & inaccurate marketing
I acquired this Yeomi 12W solar fountain pump to use in an outdoor water feature setup. Right off the bat, a quick look at the technical specifications reveals a few highly misleading marketing points regarding how it delivers power and its overall reliability.
The first major issue is the contradiction regarding water height. The listing claims heights up to 5 feet, but lower down states a 39-inch maximum ($3.25text{ feet}$) in strong sunlight. A 12W panel will struggle significantly with a 5-foot vertical lift; the 39-inch metric is much closer to reality. Furthermore, promising “stable spray performance” without a battery backup is unrealistic. The moment a cloud passes or a shadow hits the panel, the pump instantly sputters or shuts off completely. Small solar pumps like this are also highly prone to burning out if algae and debris jam the motor, or if the water level drops and the pump runs dry in the hot sun.
I have been trying it out for a day now, and under direct sun, it does “work” and circulates the water as expected. However, I am highly skeptical about how long it will actually run before clogging or burning out. I plan to run it for a few weeks to see how it handles real-world conditions, and I will update this review with its long-term durability.
It is a decent little pump for basic daytime circulation under direct sun, but you have to look past the contradictory marketing claims to know what you are actually getting.
Recommended, with reservations about the specifications … and longer testing time will tell how long it works …
This solar fountain is an easy way to add movement and sound to an outdoor water feature. I have this for our patio garden that lacks outdoor plugs. Having a solar option means I no longer have to thread an extension cord out the patio doors and plug/unplug every time we need to close the door. Works well with our 9a seasons – it does require bright sun to work and doesn’t store any energy for evenings but I have other solar fountains that do so it works well for me. The adjustable sprays help to customize flow rates.
* Solar powered operation
* Multiple spray patterns included
* No electrical outlet required
* Easy setup
* Nice decorative addition to a garden
Performance depends on direct sunlight – on bright days it creates a pleasant fountain effect.
Working like a champ.
Usually these cheap setup last for a couple of weeks at most. This one has been going strong and shows no sign of stopping. Granted, it has only been a little over a month, but it is working perfectly (as long as the sun is out 😉 )
Strong flow, steady spray
This 12W solar fountain pump feels solid and well made. The small panel powers the pump fast in sun, and the 10 ft cord lets me place the panel where it gets good light while the pump sits in the water. The pump body is compact and fits in a bird bath, small pond, or tub without taking much space. The casing and connectors feel tight and clean.
Water output looks strong for the size. At up to 132 GPH, the stream is steady and does not sputter when the panel has sun. The six nozzles give different patterns, from a simple bubbler to taller spray shapes, and the flow stays even once the nozzle is on. The spray looks neat in a bird bath and adds a clear sound in a small pond.
The parts snap together in a direct way. The nozzles twist on firmly, and the cord seats well in the back of the panel. The panel frame feels sturdy, and the surface wipes clean with a cloth. The pump hum is low, and the water movement keeps the surface fresh.
The set looks tidy, runs with a steady flow in sunlight, and gives a nice range of spray styles. The long cord helps with placement, the panel has a clean finish, and the pump feels durable for daily outdoor use.
Does work only when it is sunny. Off and on on partly cloudy
That s worked great. It was battery operated. The apparatus stopped working and even rechargeable did not last long enough for it to function like it should. I was able to but a place where the water flowed and cut the battery filter off. Does work in full sun. Have it in a place that is mostly sun. Cloudy days are a no . Love it though. Does as it is advertised.
