They came with everything I needed right out of the box, including the charging case, USB charging cable, extra ear tips in different sizes, and a clear user guide. Excellent for phone calls, video meetings, and podcasts; mediocre for music, crap for movies/games.
I bought these as a lighter, more comfortable alternative to my over-ear headphones for video meetings. I didn’t want to use my AirPods Pro on my work computer — switching them back and forth is a nuisance — so I wanted a dedicated pair just for work. These perfectly fit the bill. Meeting audio is crisp, and my coworkers say I sound clear on calls.
In terms of comfort, they rival my AirPods Pro, which is fantastic. The only quirk is that they sit in the charging case facing outward, meaning you have to rotate them before putting them in your ears, but that’s a minor adjustment. On the plus side, they connect instantly the moment you open the case, so they’re ready to use by the time you put them in. I just wish there was a brief startup chime to confirm the connection. Tap controls work as indicated in the instruction manual (so you’ll want to make sure you don’t lose it!), but you have to wear/use both earbuds for some functions like increasing or decreasing volume (tapping left decreases, tapping right increases). But being able to gently tap the earbud to play/pause/answer works, once you learn the tap pattern.
While the sound quality isn’t quite as rich or full-fidelity as AirPods for music, it is perfectly fine for voice calls. If premium, wide-range audio is your top priority, these might disappoint, but they excel for human speech/calls.
When paired with my iPhone, there is noticeable sub-second latency with these, so they’re terrible when watching videos (audio is out of sync with the video) or playing games, but that’s just a warning for buyers if that’s something important for you; it’s fine for calls/meetings.
Charging via USB-C is quick and simple. My favourite feature is the digital battery indicator on the case. It’s incredibly handy because you can see exactly how much further you have to go for a full charge. It also takes the guesswork out of knowing when the case’s internal battery is running low, so you’re never caught off guard by a dead battery. And they last a long time on a charge — I tested over 5-6 hours listening to podcasts without needing to recharge. Highly recommended for a remote or office setup!
