This is a nice item. My 16-year-old daughter just bought her own tool kit and so I gave her the challenge of putting this box together to see how well she would do. She said it was simple to assemble. The instructions were easy to follow, and it went together without any issues.
There’s plenty of room in there for an average size family’s bread and bagels, etc., that you would expect to find in any household. I like the fact there is a shelf above it as well which allows you to stack other things on top like an oversized French loaf until you can cut it down to fit.
My daughter re-organized our kitchen so that she could get this into a prime place next to the toaster and the bread cutting board. The door opens and closes easily, doesn’t slam shut and you don’t have to yank on it to get it open. We’ve been using it for about three weeks, and it seems to keep our bread cool and out of the sunlight which tends to make it go moldy very quickly in New Mexico.
The finish is very nice, and it looks like a quality item in our kitchen. I would buy it again if I had a need for another bread box. Highly recommended.
A good size for a bread box or display
This is a really nice size for a bread box measuring in at about 16 inches in length. The outer edges are a solid, dark wood, as well as the base and top. It’s a little on the thin side but still very functional and sturdy. The see-through sides are made from slightly frosted plastic with slight ridging on the outside. These plastic windows are a very thin sheet and held on by little metal hooks, exactly like what you’d find behind a picture frame to hold the back on. This box would be better if used as a display case or storage case, since traditional bread boxes usually keep the contents in the dark so they don’t mold as easily. This is not air-tight either, which typical bread boxes are not airtight since that helps to promote mold with trapped moisture. That being said, it is a beautifully designed case. It is not completely square, as the front is angled slightly for better viewing. The hardware is all provided and you even get the screwdriver needed to put it together. The instructions are easy to follow. The size and quality are good for the value requested for this price.
Nice box and it's easy to assemble
The bread box is exactly as pictured. It’s actually quite nice. The assembly gave me (60, with arthritis) no difficulties, even with only using their little screwdriver. The fit is tight, so don’t tighten all the screws until everything is together. I love that they included a little screwdriver for the project, there’s two different sizes of screws in different packages, which I deeply appreciate. The only thing I think would be better is if they would send little black dots to cover the screw holes. And yes, I’m taking a whole star off for that alone, because now I have to find some, as the screws are quite visible.

Large, and nice to look a
Great size bread box. I had a bit of a struggle getting holes to line up. Hence four stars. But together, it holds a good amount of counter clutter. The bread, rolls, and pastry. It was easy to clean and looks pretty fabulous.
I wasn’t sure if I was going to love this or not. My primary concern was that it was going to be too big or bulky. However, I absolutely love how it cleaned up my counter space, and organized not only all the different bread, and tortillas that everyone in the house uses, but it also helped organize several bottles of supplements that I’m able to store on top of the bread box. As a bonus, I can also store flour tortillas nicely underneath, so they can remain flat and not become bent out of shape—a plus, plus!!
Installation was fairly easy and the instructions made sense. All the screws and tools were provided, and nothing was missing. I did it by myself in under 20 minutes. One small change was, instead of using the screwdriver, I used my drill.
The box is light weight and not a solid wood, so it is easy to move if you need to. The quality is nice enough for its purpose. I can see this lasting me some years with good care. I definitely recommend this product if you need to hide anything on your counter that might be a bit of an eyesore, and/or for better organization of small spaces.
Easy to put togethe
It assembled really quickly after I received it. The instructions were clear, and all the tools were included—I didn’t need to prepare anything extra. Once put together, it feels very sturdy with no wobbling at all. For someone like me who’s not handy, this was a lifesaver! And on top of that, it looks beautiful—honestly one of the cutest and most practical things I’ve added to my kitchen storage!
