Very pretty fountain, the birds are going to love i
My only change to this what I would like to see a little bubbler feature but I absolutely love it. I recently purchased a large flower pot that has no holes at the bottom because it has been so incredibly hot that it’s been difficult for the Wildlife around us to find water things are just drying up all over the place. I will keep that huge pot filled with a copper piece at the bottom to keep it from going green and will be using this solar fountain to help with the birds and keeping them cool. It’s likely things like foxes and deer at night when the solar is off will be using the container to drink from. It’s really quite pretty and very attractive, I own other solar fountains that are functional but not nearly as pretty as this one.
So far so good it doesn’t float but the bubble is still reaching the top of the water by using one of the extensions, so it’s good enough for me actually, I’d rather have it this way.
The construction feels tough and durable for outdoor use. The solar panel is responsive — it starts instantly once sunlight hits it, and the water flow stays steady the whole time the sun is out. Fits my bird bath perfectly, and I’ve noticed way more birds stopping by now.

My review of the FKKsparkler solar fountain for a birdbath. Let’s address an issue people are having with the birdbath not shooting water out. This is caused by air trapped underneath, and you will see it slightly floating on the water. If you take the center nozzle off while it is in the water, it will remove the air and work. The birdbath is solid and durable-feeling. I expect three to five years of use, making it a good value. The solar panel on my deeper birdbath sank to the bottom but still worked. It floats in shallow water and sinks in deeper water. It comes with various nozzles. The solar panel worked well when exposed to full sun. Now that I figured out how to get it to work, I like it. I highly recommend this birdbath.
Works TOO well!
This is a nice little solar fountain. It’s practically fully assembled when it arrives, you just need to choose one of the 4 spout options and snap it into place. Each one creates its own beautiful spray. Even though it says it only works in full direct sunlight, mine continues to work when it’s slightly hazy or lightly cloudy covered outside. I haven’t seen any birds using it yet, but I’m not watching it 24/7. I can’t imagine that they haven’t checked it out though, because it really is eye catching. My only two complaints are these: first, the fountain too large to place in any of the birdbaths I currently own. I first tried to sit it into the base of another fountain that I ordered that wasn’t working, but like the instructions say, the spray easily blows in the wind and it quickly drained the little fountains base I put it into. I tried a few more options, bowls, Tupperware, etc, and finally settled on a glass baking dish. It’s not the most attractive option but it’s wide enough to catch most of the spray- I do end up having to refill it at least once a day. One solution I found for this issue is to place a leaf right on top of the solar panel. This will make the fountain less powerful and the spray doesn’t shoot out as high. The fountain really is adorable and it’s worth shopping around for the perfect basin to fit it.
This fountain is such a great pick for my yard. I just set it in water and that’s it. It operates perfectly under direct sunlight, no glitches or interruptions. Super easy to maintain, and the moving water successfully draws in all kinds of local birds.
