This is a good magnifying mirror that works for both home use and travel. It folds down to a compact shape and easily fits in the included storage back when not in use, or you could set it up on your counter for frequent use. It also has a little hook at the base to be mounted on a wall. The size of the reflective portion is a little smaller than mirrors that are meant to stay at home, but still big enough for home use.
The glass quality is good with no distortions and it does appear to be the promised 10x magnification. The lighting worked perfectly on all 3 settings on both sides of the mirror.
The touch button for the light is not as sensitive as other mirrors I’ve used, but I think this is generally a good thing to avoid it being accidentally triggered and draining the battery while sitting in my bag.
For the price, it’s more than I would be willing to pay for just a travel mirror, but for a mirror that can be used for at home use and traveling I think it’s a good value at the current price of $33 and would recommend it.
I got this mirror to take with me when I travel, and it has already become something I reach for every time I pack. One thing the listing does not make clear, and something I really appreciate, is that the lighting works on both sides of the mirror, even on the magnification side. That makes a real difference when you are trying to see fine details in a room with uneven lighting.

The lighting has three color settings with smooth dimming, so it is easy to match whatever environment you are in. My first thought out of the box was that it was too heavy for travel. But then when I looked at another mirror that came as part of a make up bag (that’s way too big for my suitcase) it actually weighs less, so, maybe it’s not too heavy. Then Husband noticed that my vintage, permanent, stationary make up mirror has a fraying cord on it and he doesn’t want me to use it until I can get it repaired, so I was glad to have this! And it has won me over. it’s the right size, I like the different lighting colors and, best of all, it has a hole that is made for hanging. Only here’s the thing, I don’t need to hang it at home. What I need when I travel is a mirror that allows me to see the back of my head! Is that so hard, hotels? So I end up taking an extra hand mirror when I travel that I have to somehow rig to the back of a bathroom door or a shower curtain rod or som’n so I can see the back of my darn head! We all need to see the back of our head! Since this one has that hole for hanging I can take one of my trusty oversized S-hooks and hang it just about anywheres! Problem solved. Then, I can also use it for make up of course. It’s amazing how many private home rentals don’t have good mirrors. We even stayed in a big house for a wedding and there wasn’t a single good makeup mirror in the place! Ugh! No more worries for me though! Now I can do my make up in good light AND see the back of my head! Woo hoooooo! Now, is that worth $33? That’s a LOT for me to pay. So far it’s been worth it, but if it turns out to not be worth it you can bet your booty I’ll be back to tell you about it!

I like that it has both the regular mirror and the 10x magnifying side. The magnifying side does need to be used close to your face, but that is pretty normal for this type of mirror.

This is a nice mirror – the lighting and magnifying is wonderful, and it tells you how much charge you have left, but I feel it is too thick for packing, and the mirror has no protection except for the cloth bag. I am very afraid of breaking this when packing in my suitcase. I did keep it to use at home!!
