Nice skirt but not a midi length
This is a nice skirt. Unlined but nice material. The waist is heavily elasticated with a zip closure – I’ve given 4 stars because it’s impossible pull the zip up fully through the elastic to the top and I’ve had to sew on a hook and eye which works for me. It is not mid length – a good bit shorter. I’m 5’1″ and it sits about 2″ below the knee. If you are taller and like a longer length I would avoid this skirt. Size wise it fits ok – I’m a UK 14/16 and ordered large. Very crushed on arrival but does iron out. I like the skirt and I will wear it as it is flattering and has a good look.

I liked elastic band so the waist fits perfectly, and the pockets. They’re invisible but deep and my phone can barely be spotted. I didn’t like the length – a couple cm too long, gives a Catholic school girl look. It’s a matter of taste though and can easily be fixed on my side. I do struggle with a slightly faulty zipper – it requires some time and dedication to zip it whether you’re wearing the skirt or not, but I’ve been winning the fight so far, so it’s not that bad
Beautiful ski
It looks beautiful, fits very well. Only disappointment is that the colour is not as bright as it looks on screen. the colour is more dull but nonetheless still beautiful. I have 4 different colours. 3 which i bought a few years ago and decided to get the printed one this time.
size small, green skirt with pockets, zipper, flat front, elastic back:
wash=hand wash, i have not washed it yet
pockets= hurray but they are a little bit short, i will need to open them and add cloth to make a useful size. i had bought another skirt (different maker) in the same style that really had useful pockets and i actually LOVE useful pockets…not too big of a deal because it is fixable but a phone or change would explode out as is
color=wow a very beautiful green dancing between emerald and forest, really a good green!
cloth= pretty good, cottonesque, not too shiny (ordered another skirt from another maker that was very surprisingly glam shiny..whoah oh)… but this can be worn at night or in the day without being out of place, very good
size=small is just a little big, just a little but not droopy…come on they are trying…i typically wear between a 2&4, depending on maker, and a size small …so this is pretty much in line…right now i am a little puffy and might need to take it in a touch but not too big of a deal
length=below my knee, very useful! i am short for an american though, average woman is 5’7″ and i am 5’4″…so judge accordingly
so why 4 stars and not 5… well pockets are short, and so tired of hand wash…. but this is a very nice skirt and i will buy other colors
Very very pretty! I bought the Large because that was the recommend size that showed up. It was loose. I could of bought the Med. I kept it and just used a slim belt. I received many complements. You do need to iron it. Once Ironed the pleats look amazing. If you don’t iron it won’t flare properly. It worth to take the time to iron it. It’s very classy.

I love this skirt! For reference, I’m 5’5″ and 124 lbs and this skirt falls perfectly at my knees. I think the silhouette of the skirt is flattering, and the pockets are spacious without being visible. My only qualm is that the fabric is a bit wrinkle prone, but not too bad.
I have purchased this skirt in multiple colors (including the white which I dyed) and absolutely LOVE each purchase!!! Definitely my favorite skirt in my closet and I wear them all the time. The cotton fabric feels very high quality and durable like it will hold up for many years of wear. I love that it’s made of cotton as I try to avoid synthetic materials. The vintage style and pleats are so flattering and it’s very comfortable to wear. I am 5’7″, 125lbs and the small fits me perfect. I love the stretchy waist – I don’t have to use the zipper in the back as I can pull it up over my hips easily. I feel so retro and pretty in this skirt! Will be purchasing more in the future!
Super cute! Color is a true match and super durable. Not sheer at all. The weight is pretty light. Pockets are deep, can hold an entire iPhone 17 and still have room, and placement doesn’t leave an awkward rectangle shape. Goes just past the knee. My only issue is that the zipper sticks a little, and it doesn’t zip all the way up anymore.

The pockets are useful and fit my iPhone in.
I am 5’5″ and the shirt hits right at the bottom of my knees but not midi length on my height.
I looked at the sizing and my first order I had to return because it was several inches too wide for the waist.
I am not sure if the measurements are flat fold but there is an elastic portion on the back of the skirt that made it 2 sizes too big so I returned a 2x and got a large which not fits perfectly- four finger can fit in the waist band and the skirt is not falling down when I have a phone in the pocket.
My only wish is that the skirt had more of a cotton feel to it – to me it feels and hangs more like polyester than cotton.
This skirt is one of my favorite Amazon purchases in years! I like it so much I immediately purchased it in the navy color, too, and am contemplating some other colors.
Pros:
– Very flattering shape
– Glamorous vintage look that is really wearable and doesn’t look costume-y.
– The skirt fabric has a bit of stretch (5% spandex) AND the waistband itself has elastic, so it’s very comfortable fit
– Launders well. I’ve washed it in the washing machine on the normal cycle (water = warm) and then air-dried it a couple of times now, and it has held up very well and hasn’t visibly shrunk or lost its shape.
– It has pockets! Very convenient.
– Very comfortable and breathable in hot weather (95% cotton). Absolutely perfect for summer.
– Despite being cotton and light enough for hot weather, it’s opaque – it’s not* transparent in sunlight or anything like that.
– Very affordable price point for such a great skirt! Great value for the money.
– I’ve literally had strangers stop their cars, compliment my skirt, and ask me where I got it.
Cons:
– As is true of most cotton skirts, this does require ironing to look its best after laundering. The skirt has pleats, so the ironing also takes a little care, if you’re looking to recreate and preserve the pleats.
– The pockets could be a little deeper, particularly given that there’s plenty of room for extra fabric. I have a smaller iPhone, and I could fit my phone without having it fall out, but if I had a larger one I think I’d feel like I needed to watch the pocket to make sure my phone didn’t come out.
Something to know:
– I completely agree with the other reviewers that it’s best to size down. My waist is ~28 inches and according to the size guide, that would make me a medium, but I found that the size small fit perfectly. I have two of these skirts, and one of them is even just very slightly loose as a size S.
