Clean design & functional
Wow I was skeptical of this actually absorbing water, but it totally does! The design is really pretty and it feels much cleaner than traditional bath mats. What I miss is the cozy warmth of a rug and the ability to hang the rug over the tub ledge to make more space & to clean. If you like those features > this isn’t the best fit for you. If you are looking for a highly functional, nice design, and clean look > this is great for you. It didn’t work design-wise/look right because of my bathroom dimensions, so I tried it by my back door for wet shoes/jackets during rainy season and it is incredible for that! I really love the product and wish it would have fit better with my bathroom space but I’m glad I found another use for it because it is so clever, neat, efficient, and just overall a creative way to keep a space clean & dry.
Diatomaceous earth is an incredible material I have coasters made of diatomaceous earth, and as soon as I saw this I knew I had to have it.
It works just as advertised. It stays in place on the pad and soaks up water even as you watch. The colors and pattern fit in well in our guest bedroom (see photos), and it draws admiration from anyone who’s used it (a small sample, but still…).
It cleans easily if you follow the instructions, and I hope it will continue to do so. It should then last longer than fabric mats. Time will tell.
My only reason for the four star review is that, although it’s great in our guest bath, it is not really big enough for most of our other areas. It’s a good product for a kitchen countertop.
If you are content with the size, it’s a good value for the price because it is so useful and genuinely unique.
I don’t know what would happen if I dropped it, and I don’t intend to find out.
I’m well satisfied with this Topzywic product and I will be searching their website for similar unique products,
both for home and for gifts.
