I’ve been very happy with this robotic pool cleaner. It’s easy to use, charges quickly, and does a great job picking up dirt, leaves, and debris from the bottom of the pool. The cordless design makes it convenient, and I don’t have to deal with tangled cables. It parks itself when the battery gets low, making it easy to retrieve. It has saved me a lot of time and effort, and my pool stays much cleaner. Great value for the price!
I bought this Starrybot pool cleaner without expecting too much, but honestly it surprised me in a good way.
The first thing I liked is that it’s cordless. No dealing with messy cables or complicated setup. You just drop it in the pool, turn it on, and let it do its thing. For regular maintenance, it works really well. Battery good
A lot of robotic pool vacuum models have the charger port on the bottom of the unit, and I was trying to avoid this because it doesn’t allow you to charge the unit while rinsing out the bottom. Unfortunately, this model charges on the bottom. Additionally, I wish the handle was centered on the unit because this minimizes how much debris can leak out of the suctionports when picking the unit up from the pool. As it is, the handle being on the side forces the unit to tip to the side which can cause debris to fall out.
On the plus side, I love that this unit parks next to the pool wall before the battery runs out. I also like how well this unit cleans the pool bottom. I almost gave this review 3 stars, but the unit does clean well.
This little “guy” is saving us lots of money and time! We have an above ground pool that we set up for 4 months of the year. The pool itself is a large, 15 foot, 4 ft deep pool, the basic and common easy set up pool, with steal poles to hold it up. It has a plastic or pvc- type bottom. We were in the first 3 weeks of our pool and had to replace all the water (expensive fill-up) because the water had quickly became nasty after us accidentally leaving the pump off for a week when we were out of town during a heat wave. After refilling we were still having to change the filter almost daily to keep the green away, even after chlorine and water softener/ balancer. We were at a loss
and had to do something before we gave up and took the pool down. We introduced this robot, and so far after almost 2 weeks use, we have not had to replace the pump filter yet! The pool is still crystal clear! This robot even gets the edges where the plastic seam is folded over slightly. We use this every day, and can’t believe all the stuff it gets out. It has been so fun to watch “him” move along the bottom. When he is done, we remove him and can’t believe the matter he has collected each and every time. Our pool is under a tree and no doubt, this old but beautiful shade tree is the root of our issues in trying to keep the pool clean. But this little vacuum gets the small twigs, acorns and organic matter. It gets slugs, bugs, and other nasty things. It especially gets all the sand which we were having a heck of a time with getting out, as the kids are at the beach almost every day, then to our pool. Because this does such a great job, even the sides of our pool stay cleaner. The robot is super easy to use and you only need to rinse the filter and bottom with water after he is done doing his magic. We then recharge it, and use it again the next day, or twice a day when the pool gets heavy use of more than a few hours by my 5 kiddos! My husband and I wish we got this years ago, as it more than pays for itself by saving us the expensive replacements of our pool pump filter, and we have had to use less chemicals, saving us money and leaving us feel better about the quality of the water. This little robot is also just a fun little companion when I finally get the pool to myself!
I’m really happy with this robotic pool cleaner so far. It’s compact, cordless, and very easy to use. I just place it in the pool, turn it on, and it starts cleaning on its own without dealing with messy cables. It picks up dirt, leaves, and small debris pretty well for its size.
The battery life is decent, and cleaning the filter afterward is simple and quick. It saves time and makes keeping the pool clean much easier, especially for everyday maintenance. The design also looks modern and sturdy.
Overall, a great value for anyone who wants an easy and convenient way to keep their pool cleaner without much effort.
