I absolutely love the Speedy 20qt 3-Tier Storage unit! It’s the perfect solution for organizing everything from craft supplies to pantry items. Very handy organizer and not just for medicine use. Side clasps can be tricky
If you have trouble with your first aid and over the counter medicines being a jumble in a cupboard or bin, this can be very helpful. I used to have most “needed” stuff in just a plastic basket to pull down and find what I needed, but it began to be very messy and overflowing as I tended to just put purchased items thrown in it.
This is a 4 bin organized stacking box that keeps things organized and takes up a small footprint on a shelf or a cabinet or closet. I was able to get 98% of what was in my plastic basket into this, and threw away the other 2%. There are some things to note:
1- The bottom is the largest and tallest bin but it will not hold your bottled items standing up over 6 inches, or just under that depending on the bottle cap. I could not stand up a Milk of Magnesia or a prescription cough medicine bottle and still allow the next bin to close over it. I needed to re-arrange things and have them lay slanted.
2- The next bin that sits on top of the large bottom has to be the one with a lip around the bottom edge.
3- All bins need to clear their side walls or they will not stack properly and clasp shut. I found that even a small allergy bottle standing up barely went over the edge and I could not clasp the handle. I could lay it down with the top cap on it’s side and that allowed clearance.
4- Once all the trays are filled and you put the top lid on it, make sure the side clasps are all secure to avoid picking it up and only the cover coming off. It will also be heavier than you think and although the lid handle looks like leather, it is still a plastic lid with plastic tabs holding the handle. You may want to pick it up and balance it under the bottom with your other hand to place it away. I did find that those side clasps can be finicky so make sure they are all closed as they should be.
I am very happy that this is helping my over the counter things be more organized to find the items we need and not have to make a jumbled mess moving the items around in a basket trying to find what we want. You can see through the top 3 trays enough to determine which tray might have the item you want.
