Beautiful
I really stressed my choice of birdhouse because I didn’t want to attract squirrels but I did want to have options for birds. I feel that the metal is sturdy and the design is simple and it does hold a tremendous amount of seed. I love that it collects water for the birds on rainy days. The birds came black and gold so I painted (colored) them with my chalk markers to make them look realistic.

Wonderful design for a bird feeder. Excellent metal structure. Perfect for little birds and squirrel proof. Good value for the money. Many colours available, but l like the white one. Giftable to bird lovers and watchers.
I got this for my wife, who has been quietly mourning the loss of songbirds after we took the trees down in the back yard. I love the look of it, as does she. The solar light is an interesting concept, which I didn’t really understand and still don’t, but it still makes me happy to look outside at night and see the soft glow.
The issue I have living in the northeast is that the roof is definitely not able to handle rain. The top is rather loose fitting, and the fill flaps don’t sit flush against the roof. You need to keep an eye on it as the seeds will end up sitting in water and sprouting. I may have to work out some way to drain it.
As a feeder, the birds seem to love it. We’ve gotten back finches and cardinals, but not much else yet. Tha may be a function of our choice of seed rather than the feeder itself. Overall, love it, would buy it again despite the small challenges.
Good house
So far so good. This bird house holds a lot of seed. The quality is good, but one of my door flaps doesn’t lay completely flat. Not a reason for me to knock a star off of this review. It’s very easy to use and put together. I haven’t had any issues with squirrels yet. The light on the inside of the house is pretty bright at night too. It goes off during the day and comes on when it senses darkness.
