  • & – : This wifi irrigation controller features a standard 24VAC design (includes wall-mount screws and a 24VAC transformer). It is compatible with most existing sprinkler systems and can be directly connected to your current sprinkler valves and rain sensor. Installation takes less than 15 minutes.
  • – – & : This smart irrigation controller checks local weather data. It automatically pauses watering during rain or freezing conditions and resumes when the weather improves. You can also set a 24/48/72-hour rain delay in the app.
  • + : Manage your watering system anytime, anywhere. Only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Once connected to the app, you can view the status of each sprinkler valve, the next watering time, and watering history. You can also share control permissions with family members. Additionally, you can turn valves on/off using the physical buttons on the device.
  • – : This sprinkler controller wifi smart allows us to set each zone independently based on different soil and plant types. The 8 zones can be individually configured for start time, run duration, and watering frequency. Batch watering (single zone, multiple zones, or all zones) is supported, along with a "Quick Run" feature for temporary watering without affecting existing schedules. In the app, you can name each zone and add photos for easy management.
  • – & : Whether due to power or network outage, this automatic irrigation controller automatically saves all your schedules. When power is restored and Wi-Fi reconnects, it will resume running according to the original schedule. If WiFi is disconnected but power remains on, the device will still water according to the saved schedule. No data is lost. No need for frequent checks or reprogramming.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersVery nice upgrade from an old mechanical timer uni
On my house I had an older, mechanical timer for a six-zone irrigation system. It was hard to program, only provided one option per day, and had no rain override except to manually turn the system off. Of course, daylight savings time changes had to be made manually, and if the power went off, the timer wheel had to be reset.

Then I got this controller. Viva la difference!

This was an almost effortless upgrade. All I had to do was photograph the original wiring, then match each wire to the new controller’s zones. I wasn’t in a hurry as I wanted to do it right… but I’m sure it took less than 30 minutes. I mounted it to the wall where the previous controller was and even took advantage of some existing screw holes!

I have a mesh WiFi router in the room above the garage (where the controller is located), so it was easy to “see” my WiFi network. I loaded the App and got the system connected with virtually no problems.

Programming the zones, start/stop times, and days was reasonably intuitive, given that it was my first experience with a WiFi controlled system. Because my previous system tended to flood some areas of my lawn, I cut run times down to single-digit minutes… and will bump them up as needed, once I see how much water that puts out. That’s the thing… changes are so easy to make, I will keep playing with all the numbers and days until I get it “right”!

Our days have been hot and dry in Texas, so I haven’t had a chance to see what rainy weather does to the system, but I’m satisfied that the weather is a consideration for this controller. I believe that this system will definitely save me some money on my water bill, particularly during rainy seasons.

    Recommend!

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersExcellent controller user friendly
Exactly what my grass needed. Ever been like me and want your grass thriving and beautiful but always forgetting to water it properly. Well thats a thing of the past with this bad boy. Its fairly user friendly and decently easy to get setup. Once you get ut set up and 4unnung smooth the water forgetting process you always did is over with. This thing is fantastic. My yard is already looking way better this time around than it did at thus time last year.grass needs a whole lot of water and without a disciplined routine you can kiss that beautiful lawn goodbye. But with the help of this wifi controller you can start having the yard you dreamed of. I mean theres more to it than just a little water cycle. But at least the bigger part that mamy like myself have trouble doing is covered

    errific upgrade
We have a large property with two different Rainpoint controllers. The main one for the house has 12 zones, and while I had gotten this to replace that one, I realized afterwards that this doesn’t have enough zones to really do that. So, I used this one to replace the secondary system, which was older, and it’s doing a great job. I have it set up in the little cinderblock house where the pool pump is. That building has a mesh puck inside it to help boost the wifi for the security camera I have by the pool, which is adequate to boost the signal so that this controller doesn’t go offline. I love that I can use an app to control my ancillary controller now, even if I will have to wait to bring the main controller in my house into the current decade of irrigation. I can get to the main controller of the house when it’s raining to turn it off without getting very wet when it’s raining out, but the poolhouse requires a hike in the rain to get to, so controlling it with an app saves me from getting drenched. It’s made me realize what I was missing, so I came here to try to find another version of this controller that can handle more zones. I hope they come out with one in time for the dry season to start in June!

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersUseful and Convenient for DIY setups
Setup was refreshingly straightforward. Wiring was simple, the unit is compact, and pairing it with Wi-Fi didn’t take long. The app is easy to navigate, and being able to run zones or adjust schedules remotely is genuinely useful, especially when weather changes unexpectedly. I like the weather-based delay feature for conserving water, and scheduling multiple zones is much easier than juggling separate timers. Once setup, it works reliably and overall is a solid controller that gives you smart features without the complexity or cost of higher-end systems.

Replace my old Toro system with this WiFi controlle
    It is easy to install.

The app is easy to use too.

I replaced an older toro system with this one.

Now I can set the sprinkler without going to the garage. Great when I am travelling.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersVery Easy to Swap Ou
I replaced my 25+ year-old Rain Bird zone controller with this one and it was very easy. You’ll need to have some small screwdrivers to remove the old wires and install on this one. The specs say it only works with 2.4 GHz routers and mine is the new 4.8 GHz but I found it worked just fine. (My router supports both, I discovered.)

TIPS: Mount this next to your old old box and, then, replace one wire at a time….everything is labeled. Download the App on your phone and then setup is super easy.

I love how easy it is to open the app on my iPhone and select an individual zone and run time…takes less than a minute. SUPER useful when I’m outside working on the systema and need to quickly flush out a line and don’t have to run all the way into the house and into the basement. I can, also, pick all zones for, say, a 5-minute water…very useful after a very hot day.

An easy way to control the lawn sprinklers remotely
I’d never installed an irrigation controller before, but I found it pretty straightforward to do. There are a bunch of wires in the back of the old controller for the different zones, and these just go into the new controller. A power supply, connecting to WiFi and it’s done.

The app is pretty simple to use – times, schedules, repeating – they’re all there.

I replaced a non-WiFi controller with this, and it’s nice to be able to adjust the schedule when I get the city’s weekly irrigation recommendations.

Easy to use, easy to install and works as it should.
