Tried another pool alarm and it didn't have enough range to reach my pond. This alarm does reach.
I purchased a similar alarm for my swimming pool a while back, and it has been working as expected. So when I decided to add an alarm to the backyard pond, I just went ahead and ordered the same unit as before. However, it turns out the pond is much further than the pool, and it could not reach the in-home receiver. This alarm advertised a longer 200ft range, so I ordered one to see if it solves my problem. And it did. It’s been working reliably for weeks now, and I even like it more than my previous pool alarm that cost considerably more. Would get it again.
