I bought this camera bundle to capture memories with my six year old niece and seven year old nephew because they are always running around and I wanted something instant to share with them. When the package arrived I was extremely happy with the perfect condition of the box and the camera itself. The incredibly compact size is absolutely perfect because it easily fits right in my pocket or a small bag when we take trips to the park. Despite being so tiny the overall build quality feels incredibly solid in my hands and it does not feel like a cheap toy at all.
Taking pictures with this little camera has been so much fun for the whole family and the kids absolutely love watching the film develop right in front of their eyes. I was honestly surprised by how well the photos turn out because the automatic exposure handles different outdoor lighting situations really well without washing out the colors. Having the sixteen included photos right in the bundle meant we could start snapping pictures the second we got it running. When you factor in the physical memories we get to keep and the sheer joy it brings the value for money is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend picking this up if you want a simple and entertaining way to document your life.
Love my Polaroid Go Gen 3!! I’ve used Gen 1 and Gen 2 and this iteration is by far the best. Pictures come out a bit clearer than the previous models and I wear my Gen 3 every time I step outside because you never know what you might want to snap a picture of! People always ask if it’s a true Polaroid and it’s fun to walk them through the Polaroid experience! The Go series of cameras is by far the best way to get into the Polaroid ecosystem. Go film is cheaper than standard film and the smaller images are cute to boot! These are TINY! Get creative and take some analog pictures to share with your friends, family, and strangers!

Used this instant camera during a weekend get-together with friends, and it brought a really fun element to taking photos. Instead of everyone just taking pictures on their phones, we could capture moments and have a physical photo to keep straight away. The small size makes it easy to carry around, and it fits nicely in a bag when heading out for the day. I especially liked the surprise of waiting for each photo to develop and seeing how the final image turned out. It was great for parties, casual trips, and creating little memories that do not just stay hidden in a camera roll. The bundle with the colour film meant it was ready to use straight away, making it a simple and enjoyable way to capture everyday moments.
I ordered this as a fun thing for me as I do photography as a hobby. I mainly shoot professional digital bodies, but have quite a but of experience with Instax cameras for fun. This Polaroid Go is quite compact, about the size of my fist. The build quality of the camera is surprisingly good for it’s price point. The optics in the viewfinder are surprisingly clear which I really like. I love the look of this camera, its cutesy but not over the top where it wouldn’t be an ideal unisex gift. This is strictly a point and shoot type Polaroid, with fixed focus and aperture, so it is extremely easy to use but don’t expect any manual exposure adjustments if you are a camera nerd like me. To that end, the automatic exposure seems to be pretty accurate for the shots I have taken, just be aware that dynamic range is limited on this film type so plan your images accordingly, highly backlit images may cause issues. The only real con of this system is the price of the film, especially for how small the prints are. They are roughly square images and they are about two thirds the size of instax mini, and you get 8 shots per pack vs 10 per pack on instax and these tend to cost up to 25% more per image. Hopefully Polaroid will lower the price of the film to be a bit more competitive. Overall this is a great little camera for fun general use, and would make a great gift.
This camera has it all (or at least almost). Self-timer, double-exposure, selfie mirror, autofocus, etc. And it is super cute and fun to use. My only complaint is that the photos don’t look good. They are almost always too dark, with poor clarity. I have lots of experience with Polaroids, going back to the 80’s. Polaroid photos never looked great, but these are significantly worse than the older formula.
I’ve been a Polaroid fan for years and also regularly shoot with Instax Mini (which this directly competes with), so I was excited to try the new Go Generation 3. It’s a great little camera if you’re looking for something ultra-portable. The camera itself is surprisingly tiny, making it easy to throw in a bag or even a larger pocket, and the battery has lasted through several packs of film without needing a recharge.
One thing to note is that it only works with Polaroid Go film, but the film is priced similarly to Instax Mini. Polaroid is 8 shots per cartridge to instax’ 10, but they still shake out to about 1.50 a shot. The photos are also about the same width as Instax Mini prints, but instead of the rectangular format, you get the classic square Polaroid look, which I personally prefer.
The image quality is very good, especially indoors with the built-in flash. Colors come out vibrant and have that signature Polaroid character. Outdoors, photos can look a little washed out if you’re not careful, but I’ve found that shielding the photo from light immediately after it ejects helps the final image develop much better. It prints out quite fast, but development time can range from around 20-30 minutes for full effect. My best tip is to just quickly put the prints into your pocket or a dark box or bag and let them develop for at least a half hour. Forget about them for a bit, then come back and you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
I chose the white version, and I think it looks fantastic. It has a clean, modern feel while still keeping that classic Polaroid styling. Overall, I’m really happy with this camera. It’s a fun alternative to Instax Mini and a great choice for anyone who loves instant photography but wants the iconic square Polaroid format in a much smaller package.
I had a Polaroid camera when I was a little girl. It was what got me started on my journey to photography and videography. Now as an adult, that’s my full-time job. Though I’m now all digital and mirror less, I am still fascinated with film and light and how it’s possible to create images in simpler ways. Having a Polaroid again is very nostalgic for me. It is actually very similar to what I remember from 20 years ago. The Polaroids that I took when I was little are still at my parents house and upon comparison those that I’m taking today with this camera look extremely similar.
This little camera is small enough to go in a backpack or a purse. One charge lasts for months. Literally I’ve charged it one time. The operation is extremely simple and involves just a couple of buttons. The flash works great, is shockingly bring and really gives you that Y2K vibe that everybody loves. Exposure time is 10 to 15 minutes upside down on a table. The film is no shake, which is super nice. I love that this Polaroid has stayed true to its roots and is a high-quality and beautiful camera. Me and my nephews really enjoy taking film pictures. They love that they can hang these up in their room are on the refrigerator and they don’t have to be printed off on the computer for them to keep forever. I also love the counterintuitive simplicity of really considering each shot you take. Because film is expensive (and more on that in a second) each time I push the button it is intentional. Being a photographer it is not abnormal for me to take 1600 to 2000 images in 30 minutes. So to really be forced to slow down and think about the composition of an image is quite therapeutic. The picture size is definitely small but it’s supposed to be. Don’t expect any great detail from these shots. They fit great in the back of a phone case or on a string as decoration. I’ve also quite enjoyed using them as bookmarks. The camera itself is a good value and you probably won’t find one cheaper that does what this does. As anyone who has ever owned a Polaroid would tell you, the most expensive part of this camera is not the camera itself, but the film. Polaroid is the only one who makes Polaroid film so you have to buy their product. That can be pricey. It’s definitely not something that you would hand a kid and let them go crazy with.
I haven’t experienced any glitches or bad takes yet. Each photo is unique and beautiful and its own way. In a world that is so obsessed with the phone camera and cheap instant images this really is a breath of fresh air. I’m always looking for things that make me slow down and savor and this is definitely one of those things. It’s become one of my favorite possessions.
