Thrilled with this purchase, but here's an install recommendation...
Very happy with this purchase! I will say, however, the way they recommend you install these is bonkers. They will NOT sit flesh with the wall. I recommend installing these with the plate directly to the wall like my picture. Worked perfectly. We also used drywall anchors, which helped make them feel very secure. The light bulbs last a decent amount of time and the remote and color features are great! I purchased a second set of bulbs so I always have bulbs charged and ready. These have a great classic look and certainly makes my rental feel more homey. Lastly, one of the lampshades came dented, but I reached out and one was sent promptly from China at no cost to me. Appreciated how easy that was.

I recently bought my first home and am in the process of slowly furnishing, repainting, and decorating my livingroom to reflect the one I’ve designed in my mind. I will soon be repainting my walls a deep moody teal color, and with this, the most recommended accent color is brass but not like the typical “70’s” brass. It’s like same color as brass, but more of a brushed finish. I had to trial and error with orders for this a couple times, but this is the one that matches what I wanted, perfectly!!

THINGS TO KNOW:

* people say it’s super hard to install?? I can’t relate lol. I’m literally 24F and I had no problem whatsoever. The only thing I found tricky was making my drill NOT migrate a little bit and cause the anchors to not be installed perfectly straight but that’s user error. And probably the plaster walls lol.

* The instructions are pretty vague, but it’s mostly common sense. I will say I had some things backwards at first lol, but you will realize quickly and be able to fix it if that’s the case

* I didn’t even realize initially, but the lights magnetize to the place they sit in the sconce! A+ super awesome little detail!

* I think the batteries probably last around what the description says they do. I just try not to keep them on for long periods so I don’t have to charge them. I will say, the first time, the batteries seemed to die rather quickly compared to the advertised battery life, but this time, they’ve already gone well beyond the duration of the first use and still haven’t needed charged yet. Could’ve been a charger or outlet issue on my end.

* Comes with 2 remotes- one for each sconce. 1 remote can work for BOTH!

* All functions, modes, and buttons work perfectly! (I LOVE being able to adjust the temp of the white light! I like the “C/W” cool/warm setting during the day and W/W “warm/warm” at night :))

For a sconce that isn’t hardwired, I think this is a fantastic choice. I’m very happy with my purchase 🙂

Versatile Sconces
So many choices but I’m glad I chose these rechargeable light sconces. They are amazingly beautiful and give a great deal of light. Options include 3 temperatures, timers, dimmers and colors. Best of all they don’t require hard-wiring. They’re easy to assemble and hang. There are two remotes, but one remote can control both sconces. A side benefit? With a tornado looming and threatening a potential power outage, I grabbed the bulbs to serve as emergency lights. They came charged, but I put them on the charger till the bulb changed from red to green. I can’t speak to how long they hold a charge but I will update if needed.

Pretty Battery Powered wall Sconces
These battery powered- lightbulbs- sconces are a lovely addition to my formal living room mantle. They give off just enough light for a glowing ambience. They have serval different color options and other dimming adjustments and my kids love changing them for the holidays. They are easy to use with a remote control- it does turn them both on at the same time, but if you block one with a piece of cardboard or something you can make them two different colors. They are very easy to install. I wish the bracket was a little more snug to the wall, but it’s not noticeable and I wish the battery life was a little longer, but I know battery powered lightbulbs only have so much life in them. A great option is to just grab another set of light bulbs so you always have one pair charged and ready to go! We live in FL where we have lots of summer storms and hurricanes and these came in very handy when we lost power! Overall, they have a great function and value, with pretty decent battery life and overall durability.
