Treated to be UV and water resistant. Thin but effective. Wasn’t quite sure what this was until I read the label since it is vacuum sealed very tiny blavk wrapped packaging – 11″ By 8″ By 3″ thick.
The silver fabric is treated to be UV resistant and water repellent. Protecting against rain wind snow sun bird poo tree sap dirt leaves ETC. It won’t crack in cold weather. And it protects the spa from harmful UV rays and more.
The cover is made of a pen material not quilted. Similar to a tarp. But A tighter weave with smaller thread.
The cover comes with a bag to store it in when not in use.
The cover comes with two zippered corners plus all four corners have buckle straps to help cinch it to the spa. It covers the sides with a 20″ drop. The cover is lightweight and easy to work with. One person can handle it with ease.
The zippers have a reflective stripe over them. The stitching is done in black which looks very nice. There are gusseted vents along each side. They measure 17″ long By 8″ tall.
Fits snugly on a 85″ x 85″ spa.
I placed an inflatable pool pillow (that we use when winterizing our pool) on the water surface to help shed rain. Preventing pooling of water on the cover since the included instructions say to remove water timely from the cover when they occur. Prevention is best in my opinion.
I’m removing one star because the photos seemed to depict a cover that had some padding to it that would help it keep its shape. This does not.
It is thin. I’m unsure of longevity, but if we get one season and a winter of protection for $36… I think that is ok.

It’s easy to manage alone and fits nicely with its zipper and adjustable elastic bands on each corner that keep debris out as well as keeping it securely in place in the event of winds. The water resistant layer keeps the water clean in between uses and helps reduce the amount of chemicals needed. The clean, neat appearance is a high step up, at an affordable price, from the tarp we were using making this a good value.
Excellent Protection for Our Hot Tub This hot tub cover has been a great investment. It fit our hot tub perfectly and was easy to put on. The material feels thick, durable, and well made, giving me confidence that it will hold up through changing weather conditions.
It does a great job protecting the existing hot tub since it was damaged cover from rain, snow, sun, leaves, and debris, helping keep everything cleaner and extending the life of the cover underneath.
The adjustable straps help keep it secure, even on windy days, and it has stayed in place without any issues. I also appreciate that it’s easy to remove when we’re ready to use the hot tub.
Overall, this is a well-made, high-quality cover that fits as described and provides excellent year-round protection. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to protect their spa cover.
I always use a thin cover like this to extend the life of the expensive thermal cover on my spa I just ordered a new hot tub to replace one I’ve had for over 10 years that finally gave out mechanically, but the thick foam cover on the old one still looked brand new. The reason it looked so new was that I used a thin outer cover over the insulated cover that was very similar to this one. This new thin cover is to go on my new tub when it comes–wish I could show you a picture of this one spread out over the new tub but you can see what it looks like in the ad. I can tell you that this cover is much like the one that kept the last tub’s insulated cover so new and unblemished–this one is made of thin but very strong durable material that is also very reflective. Sun damage is a major problem for spa covers, so the reflective cover minimizes the heat and radiation as well as keeping dirt, seeds, branches, leaves, bugs and bird poop from scratching, staining, or otherwise blemishing the actual hot tub cover. This cover, like my last one, will be larger than the tub I’m getting but it is adjustable, plus I have bungee cords that allow me to surround it and hold it tightly against my tub. The extra-tight fit helps maximize wind resistance and minimize access to the water by ants (would you believe they can find their way into hot tubs during really dry weather?), tree frogs (yes, found one of those in our tub once) and other critters This new thin spa cover is made of good strong reflective waterproof material and it does have vents, but I’ve never had any trouble with mold or mildew even without the vents. This new one won’t last forever, but it will add years to the life of the expensive spa cover that comes with my new hot tub, at a small fraction of the cost of a new insulated cover.
Will save you money. My hot tub has sat out under the sun for a few years now and has gotten sun damage from it. So hot tub cover to the rescue. My tub is small and the canvas cover I bought a couple years is very large. This one is too big to but much smaller the the other. It feels nicer and has vents on each side for air flow. The straps are adjustable and help keep the wind from catching the cover and blowing it off. This product is well worth the money. Even if you have a new tub or replacement cover this thing will save you money by protecting your investment especially if its out in the weather.
High quality cover at a fantastic price poi I am using this cover on my Aquaterra Avila spa. The cover is wider than my spa, but the length is spot on. It works extremely well for keeping the suns damaging UV rays AND the bird poop off my spas expensive hard cover. This cover is well constructed, and utilizes a very nice heavy material that is easy to keep clean. The cover features vent flaps on all 4 sides, and nice heavy duty adjustable straps on the 4 corners. I gave this spa cover an easy 5 star rating for overall quality, functionality, fit, and real value at the currently listed price. Highly recommended to help protect your spas expensive hard cover!
Protects my hot tub cover from replaceme I didn’t measure my hot tub accurately, so this cover is big. But that’s ok, because it still protects my hot tub cover. Too big is better than too small after all. My cover is starting to tear, and the white insulation is showing along the creases. This cover will prolong the lifetime of my insulated hot tub cover and save me the expense of a new cover. It’s not as thick as I had hoped, but it is effective. I used the straps at each corner to secure the cover on my hot tub so that it won’t blow away.
