Product description

UVWORK Motorcycle Windshield Clip Camera Mount. Versatile mount for your action camera.
I picked this up from my YouTube channel that features E bikes and now we’re also featuring motorcycles. Been looking for a good way to film myself while riding and this definitely fits the bill. I use the DJI camera and it’s a perfect match with this. Solid aluminum body. The windshield area is protected by a good rubber pad that appears to be about 3/16 of an inch thick. When you unscrew the mount, it comes out evenly so it’s not pinching on one side only like some of the cheaper models do. It is also spring loaded to open up as you are unscrewing.I took it down several gravel and forest service roads and did not have any movement on it sitting on top of the windshield. I did not think about it until I got home, but you can also connect this with the included 1/4 inch mount, on the side of the windshield for a full front shot. Seemed like an interesting way to get some different points of view. But I have not tested it out to see how solid it holds as of yet. I do have one very minor gripe. I would like to see the threaded mount have a bit more threads to it. It only has a few threads and then you have an end cap on the mounting screw. It is nowhere close to removing one star from it, though. Would definitely recommend this for anyone. Beware if you are using a taller windscreen as I am, it could be in your way. But I will still use this for filming myself. Five stars.
Good camera mount, fits securely, main mount made of metal
This windshield clamp is a good quality. The clamp itself is made out of a coated aluminum with rubber pads and a nice quality screw clamp to allow secure operation.
This also comes with a camera mount adapter and thumb screw. These are made out of plastic unlike the clamp itself, so if I was worried about anything breaking, it would actually be the camera mount adapter itself.
I will likely upgrade this in the future, but it’s a nice thing to include.
The mount does keep its profile to a minimum, but it does make the camera itself stick above the windscreen a large amount, and as such, wind does affect it a great deal. It would be nice if those designs so that the camera had a lower profile to the wind.
Overall though, this is a great clamp, and it capable of holding any number of action cameras.
It’s price is also decent for what you get.
This thumbscrew adjustable (unframed-style) windshield or window mount for cameras or anything else equipped with a 1/4″ x 20 threaded mounting hole, like those typically found on camera tripods. The structural components of the mount are constructed primarily from aluminum, with steel screws and springs, plastic (composite?) thumbscrews and a plastic mounting thumb-wheel with rubberized plastic insert to secure the camera on top of the mount.
Although primarily designed for use on motorcycle windshields, I found that this mount attaches securely to a side window on any of my vehicles, allowing for a small to mid-size camera to be securely attached, providing a steady base, both while the vehicle is stationary and in motion. It also works well for larger cameras, such as a digital 35mm SLR, but only for stationary use (too much vibration and lateral force when the vehicle is in motion).
Although both sides of the mount that contact the glass are lined with rubber pads, to both help grip and protect the glass, care should be taken when using this mount on windows with tinting film applied, so as to not damage that tinting film. I used a small piece of microfiber cloth between the mount and the inside of the glass on my tinted windows, and the mount still provides a good grip with just the outer rubber pad in direct contact with the glass.
This is a very good quality camera mount and priced at $6.90 at the time of my order, it’s a very (VERY!) good deal! Unfortunately, at the time of this review Amazon states that this item is, “Currently unavailable. We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock.” I’m always surprised when I see this message so soon after I’ve ordered and received a good product, but hopefully it will return, because it really is a very good product at a very good price that’s FAR below any competitive product that I’ve been able to find.
I’ve circled (in red) a nut/cap in one of my pictures. This is to show a component on this product that is just decorative and doesn’t perform any structural function. It merely covers the otherwise exposed end of the adjustment screw. Because the screw is fairly short, if the nut/cap isn’t screwed tightly onto the end of that screw it will come loose and fall off (and could be lost). That’s not a big deal, as the product doesn’t look bad without it, but I thought I’d mention it anyway.

Solid Aluminum Body. Excellent Value. Not Just For Motorcycles.
I’m always interested in camera mounts, gadgets, and accessories, so this UVWORK motorcycle windshield camera mount immediately caught my attention. While it’s designed for motorcycle use, I actually ordered it with other mounting applications in mind.
One thing I like about this mount is its versatility. It can be clipped onto almost any thin, flat surface that is roughly 1/4 inch thick or less. In addition to motorcycle windshields, I found it can work on the bill of a cap, the edge of a helmet, or even a car window. That said, if you’re using it for unconventional mounting locations, achieving the ideal camera angle may require additional extension arms or accessories to provide more adjustment options.
Build quality is impressive for the price. The main body is constructed from solid aluminum alloy and feels sturdy and durable. The adjustment knobs feel like hard plastic but well suited for its purpose. I also appreciate the long mounting knob, which makes adjustments easier, and the end nut serves both as a cosmetic finishing touch and as a safety lock nut.
Another feature that stands out is the 1/4-inch adapter design. Unlike some mounts where you have to keep rotating the camera or accessory until it bottoms out, this mount allows you to position the device where you want it and then tighten the locking knob to secure it in place. This makes positioning much more convenient.
Overall, this is a solid and versatile mounting accessory that offers good construction, useful design features, and flexibility beyond its intended motorcycle application. At the listed price of $6.90, it’s an excellent value and easy to recommend whether you’re using it on a motorcycle or simply adding another mounting option to your camera gear.

A Clever Clamp That Goes Well Beyond Motorcycles
First Impression
I don’t own a motorcycle, so at first I assumed this wasn’t a product I’d have much use for. I was wrong.
After taking it out of the box, it became obvious that this is really a well-made universal clamp with a standard GoPro-style mounting interface. The motorcycle windshield is only one of many places where it can be used.
What Stands Out
The aluminum construction feels solid and precisely machined, with no noticeable play anywhere in the mechanism. The spring-loaded clamp closes firmly, while the silicone pads provide a secure grip without scratching the surface.
Installation takes only a few seconds. Open the clamp, position it, tighten it if necessary, and you’re ready to mount a camera. The included 1/4″-20 adapter also makes it compatible with many accessories beyond typical action cameras.
What I appreciate most is that the real value isn’t the long list of camera models printed in the description—it’s the mounting standard. If your camera or accessory uses the common GoPro interface (or a 1/4″-20 adapter), this clamp simply works.
Real-World Use
My first thought wasn’t a motorcycle at all.
I clipped it onto the partially lowered side window of my car, attached one of my DJI Action cameras, and instantly had a very stable temporary mounting point for exterior filming. It worked exactly as I hoped, and opening or closing the clamp takes only seconds.
That experience made me realize this is one of those accessories that encourages creative use. Motorcycle windshields are certainly one application, but it’s just as useful anywhere you need a quick, secure clamp for an action camera.
Room for Improvement
I would have liked to see a slightly larger maximum clamping range. While it fits most of the intended applications, a little extra capacity would make it even more versatile.
Bottom Line
This turned out to be much more useful than the product title suggests. It’s a sturdy, well-built universal camera clamp that happens to work on motorcycles—but certainly isn’t limited to them.
Who it’s for: Anyone using action cameras who needs a quick temporary mounting solution.
Who should skip it: Those looking for a permanent, lockable vehicle mount.
Price: Feels appropriate for the quality of the machining and construction.

Metal construction, perfectly designed, works on multiple cameras, great cost, portable/no adhesive
If you change from multiple bikes and want something that can transfer over easily and securely this clamp gives you all the flexibility you need and doesnt cost an excessive amount. I didnt want to permanently add a adhesive mount to my bike and this was a perfect solution. Been using about 3 weeks and its been exactly what I needed and solved all my concerns. The good- pros- The clamp strength was a concern but when I mounted it the first that those concerns were resolved, specially with how thick and strong the material its made of is. Secondly it adds way more functionality since it allows me to switch between multiple bikes instead of being limited to just one. So it being a clamp means its way more portable and still has all the stability of a normal mount. I do like that its also a cross compatible clamp system. Bonus pro is that since its a clamp I can also add it to other types of vehicles. Pro tip make sure the screen is clean so no trash gets in causing scratches. Also if you have an excessively curved screen this may not work so take a look at the curve, there is protecting but excessive tightening can crack the plastic.
