Beautiful feeder that hummingbirds actually use
I added this hummingbird feeder to my yard in July 2025, and it has attracted plenty of hummingbirds since then. I wasn’t sure at first if the purple-tinted glass would appeal to them, but they use it constantly throughout the day and seem very comfortable feeding from it.
The feeder is easy to refill, and I like that it comes apart into separate pieces for cleaning. The feeding ports and base are simple to wash, although the narrow neck of the bottle can be a little harder to reach inside properly. I usually use paper towels for cleaning and a dish towel for drying, sometimes with a long utensil handle to help reach farther inside the glass.
Visually, the glass design looks decorative while still being practical to use, and it has held up well outdoors for me without leaking issues. I’ve also noticed fewer problems with ants or bees gathering around it compared to some other feeders I’ve used. The flower colors have faded slightly over time from sun exposure, but everything still functions properly.
It’s been a nice addition to the yard during hummingbird season.
Attracts humans and hummingbirds
GORGEOUS! It’s so beautiful ! The hummingbirds love it my mom came over to visit and was so obsessed with that I gave it to her I’ll be buying another one my mother in law also wants one you’ll be a hot commodity with this feeder!

I don’t usually leave reviews but this product deserves one!!! This is the most beautiful hummingbird feeder! The hummingbirds think so too, they LOVE it!!! This feeder saved me! I was distraught because the hummingbirds weren’t around like usual this year. I absolutely adore hummingbirds and was trying everything to lure them back!!! I bought several different feeders as well as tried different brands of sugar. No luck. I was about to give up and found this feeder and decided to try one more time. Thank goodness I did!! I am happy to report the hummingbirds are back!!! Other reviews on this feeder complained about the color being almost pink, I don’t agree. The color is a soft purple and it’s perfect! I can’t say enough out this feeder! It’s easy to clean, too! Just love it!!
Beautiful and attracted my birdies
I was worried that my birdies wouldn’t come to a purple feeder, but I liked it so much, I figured I’d give it a try. It’s well made, beautiful, and yes, the birds, and bats love it haha. It was an amazing deal. It’s exactly what I needed.
We tried multiple feeders prior to this one. Each of them had some kind of problem. They leaked or the birds didn’t like them. After much intensive study and comparison, I determined that the best idea is to get one that 1) the bottom is not made of soft plastic 2) there is a perch for the birds 3) it is not all red but has a stand out red portion 4) the lip comes up over the top rather than the top sitting over the bottom basin. This feeder has all of these qualities. My birds liked it immediately and use it all day every day. And it is pretty.
Update: Still the best feeder to date – but it did crack – and we do not get that cold here, maybe 40 degrees F, and now there is mold forming inside in a spot which is pretty much impossible to reach – which means I have to purchase a new one for fear of it breaking all over the place or harming the birds in some way with the mold.
Beautiful, Leak proof and the birds love them!
I loved it so much I bought a second one! I had a blue glass and a clear glass feeder that the birds seemed to ignore. The amethyst feeder was very busy. Hummingbirds only see certain colors well. Amethyst and Red are 2 very good colors for hummingbirds to see. They really are leak proof too! I returned my other 2 feeders and kept these two. They look great, easy to fill, leak proof and they are beautiful.

I was standing at my front door one afternoon on the phone when something caught my eye. I noticed something tiny, fluttering and hovering in front of a gate archway I have with a climbing flowering plant all over it. When I took a closer look I discovered it was a hummingbird. To my surprise I realized I had never seen one in real life before as I had no idea they were so tiny. It was the most beautiful and cutest thing I had ever seen. I now wanted desperately to attract them to my yard so ran inside and immediately searched online for hummingbird feeders. This was the one I found and fell in love with. It’s so pretty. The colour is perfect and the glass makes it so much more special. I don’t like the look of the plastic ones. It was also actually a lower price than some of the plastic ones. It is great quality and arrived the very next day in great shape. Packaged well and Very easy to assemble. I might just have to order another one.

I love it & the hummers love it! Easy to clean and not cheap material. Appreciate how dainty and clean it is to the eye. Easy to fill, clean and reasonably priced. Will buy again if needed
