    Great to have
This 12V RV macerator pump works great and makes emptying my waste tanks much easier and cleaner.

The pump has good flow, feels solid, and does exactly what I needed it to do for RV use. It’s a very useful piece of equipment for campers, marine setups, bathrooms, or any situation where you need to move wastewater efficiently.

Overall, I’m happy with it and would recommend it. 5 stars.

    Poop garbage disposal
Worked great had to use with my Rv on the side of the house away from the clean out to the house. Wired up with a m18 adapter and it worked great. Just make sure to double check that you have all your fittings tight so you don’t get the dreaded brown down all over the place. Price is good and way better than the other brands with battery at 250

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGood but needs a better switch.
I have had this for three months now. Use it daily to empty tanks. (50 gal tanks)

What I have found is that the electrical wire needs to be a bit higher rated. The car type accessory plug was the first thing to overheat and quit working. Then, today the switch quit making connection. This is most likely due to heat and the copper pieces straitening out. I took the switch apart, made a slight bend in the contact piece the rocker contact sits on and put it back together. Works like it should.

So what the manufacturer should do is use some heavier wire, and a better rated switch .

Overall the motor works great, just have to get power to it.

Update: the pump got stuck, I could feel the motor try to run. With the instructions, I disassembled the pump, cleaned it, reassembled it and it is working well again.

Be sure and do a good rinse after using it.. I do blackwater then grey water then a fresh water rinse..

Update, 4 months old. Needed to disassemble and clean again. After disassembly and cleaning and reassembly, it worked like new. Just need to find out how to get replacement gaskets for it.

It is very easy to disassemble and reassemble. Took all of 15 minutes to do it.

The only other thing of note is the switch gets on the hot side while emptying my two 50 gal holding tanks.. ( probably about 60 gal between the black and gray water)

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersYear 3 still works good
Beginning of year three. I use this pump approximately times a season and it is kept in a plastic tote outside under a camper since bought. A requirement to keep it working efficiently. Hair binds blades, so routine che king and. Leaning is a must. Meaning the adapter and blade must be removed and cleaned off then reinstalled. Ten minutes task. I pump using a 2 inch pool backwash hose Attached to the macerator outlet with an adapter and clamp. 2 inch hose is 150 feet and it takes about 10 minutes to empty full black water tank and 20 minutes total to setup plugin to a cigarette outlet with switch and clean up. Excellent product. Thank you very much.

Living in rv year round is so much easier and doable thanks to these machines. It is so simple to use and gets the job done in minutes. You simply attach and hook up regular size water hoses to it and where your sewer dumping spot is and turn it on and in no time you are empty. Will say make sure you are using rv tp or have chemicals to break down paper to prevent clogs. And always make sure the inside washer that goes inside rim is in place to prevent leaks. This one is awesome and came as described and on time and I would definitely recommend.

This is a nice pump for the money!
I have been using this pump for boondocking and mooch docking and it has performed flawlessly! When boondocking I pump into a tank in the back of my truck and then pump the tank out into a vault toilet. When mooch docking at my friend’s place, I have to run a 100-foot hose to a dump outlet that is on fairly level ground, and it works great every time! I did have a problem one time where the pump clogged up but I found it was not the fault of the pump it became clogged with the small supposably dissolving packets from our black tank treatment. I spent a few minutes digging the plastic out of impeller (always fun to dig in there) and after the plastic was out the pump operated just as usual, so if you use the small packets, I recommend ripping them open and just dumping them down your toilet. I have a 12-volt supply on the side of my rig, and this pump runs cool and fairly quiet for a pump! This pump does the job with no problems!

Are all of these made in the same plant? If this seems like a loaded question, it is not. I bought a macerator costing nearly twice as much as this one from Amazon. It was dying after 8 months. So disgusted with my last buying choice I bought this unit being the least costly of the offerings available on that day. The unit I was about to replace worked but for a shorter time frame each time I used it. So a week ago I had time and decided to change out the expensive ‘old’ to install the less expensive ‘new’. I examined each minute detail in the construction of each, less the identifying company labels which were applied with adhesive. And son of a gun, both were identical in every visible aspect including the little throw away switch which collects so much electrical resistance that it’s really a fire hazard. (I attach to one of my batteries with heavy alligator clips attached to longer heavier wire). I examined everything of the smallest detail like even small bumps from the molding process where the unit attached to the rig and they look like a drop of water. And inside where the blades are there’s a ratcheting looking gear that surrounds the blades which is apart from the motor and is part of the gearing that drives the separate components. Wire color too. I saw zero differences. All The Same! Why pay more?
