It’s a good rug, and we did not experience as much of an issue with it flattening out as some other reviewers did. This flattened out for us relatively quickly. You may just have to be OK with putting some objects on the corners for a little while. We sped it up by adding corner tape.
The reason I can’t give it five stars is just because I thought it would look and be a little different based off of the pictures.
In real life, this rug is pretty shiny. It really shows up with those different colored streaks in the shiny versus un-shiny parts when you walk over it and move the rug fibers around. So I feel like it is really 2 different colors depending on where the shiny parts are showing, and where the dull parts are showing, or the current angles of the fibers.
So it will always sort of have two colors at once. I really was looking for something that was a little more like cotton, that kept its color across the whole rug without shine.
I can’t give it too low of a review for that though, because if I had really taken the time to fully watch the videos and not just to look at the pictures, I would have probably noticed that this is a shiny rug.
My other issue with the look of the rug though is color. I don’t blame the seller because I am sure this is difficult to show on camera. But I thought this rug would be a warm, beige or brown tone. This was showing up much more cool toned to me almost like a purple beige very slightly. With all my other furniture being so warm toned it just stood out in a bad way to me.
So, it’s a good rug. If you know it’s going to be that shiny material that changes its look and color when you rub your hand over a part of it, and if you know that the color might not be exactly easy to see through the pictures.
The softness is good and the quality seems good. And I know from research that the material it is made out of that makes it shiny is something that also makes it last a long time.
So removing a star really just came down to the fact that the little things that are hard to see from pictures ended up mattering a lot in my unique situation. But if you’re like me and you really need the color to be exactly right and the feel and texture to be exactly what you envision, I would recommend going into a store and visually seeing and feeling rugs rather than getting one online.
This is a very nice rug. It’s soft to the touch but also low-pile so it’s easy to clean & pet-friendly. I especially loved the color online (light/soft green), but it unfortunately doesn’t go well with my gray wood floors. The floors wash out the green color and ends up looking silver-ish. I’m so sad that I have to return it cuz I really like it!
Color is perfect Ivory! I needed a barrier between my Oak table and my gray wood plank floors and this worked exceptionally well. Only took a few days to lay completely flat. Feels luscious in bare feet.

So happy with this rug! In the last few years we have purchased several area rugs, and I have always needed to wrestle each one into submission- so wrinkled and creased and difficult to get flat. Not this one! It was almost perfectly flat right from the first roll out- the pictures I’ve attached are day one, with almost zero flattening efforts on my part. Nice colour. Fairly thin, not super plush but still soft (which was what I was aiming for, given that it’s a mostly under the bed rug). Reasonable price point. Would recommend. -KD
I bought the large 10 x 14′ rug in Emerald Green. The color is rich and beautiful and it’s nice and soft. I also purchased (2) of the 3 x 5′ ovals for small areas which need carpet strips to stay in place securely. The two small rugs came rolled and the large one was shipped folded. I was worried about creases, but have set some heavy stacks of books on the large rug and it is starting to lay down nicely. I also used some of the double sided carpet strips on some of the edges to keep them flat. The rugs stays in place when vacuumed. All things considered, I am quite happy with the rugs and my dogs love them too! The price is reasonable compared with other rugs on the market and the quality is very good. The only problem is that they are out of this color in most of the sizes so it is hard to get the size you need which is unfortunate. I am thinking about buying one more of the rugs in the 4 x 6′ size for another area. I would definitely recommend as an alternative to the flimsy washable area rugs and those that are high priced!
I am SO glad I took my time to find the perfect carpet rug. Deep color. Vacuum-friendly. Sturdy. Soft. And I put rug stickers on it as well – no slip. It’s perfect!
