Much better than the original
The battery life and the connection reliability are much better than they were with the original version of these.
With properly sized eartips these are pretty comfortable, they do a good job of blocking noise and they have decent audio quality.
I was super skeptical.
I’ve use some ear muf style ear protection so far, and it does help with the sound, but it started hurting my jar on top of being hot and hard to have safety glasses on…so I looked for an alternative.
Holy crap, these isotunes are expensive! But they work! They don’t kill the noise, but they cut out everything that’s loud, which means any noise is comfortable. It will kill extra loud noises. On top the aware feature seems pretty neat in a larger work environment, and is adjustable.
It comes with several different ear pieces to try.
Battery seems reasonable.
I’ve now worn this for multiple 3+ hour sessions and completely forgot I was wearing them…they don’t get in the way of anything, and once they are in your ear, you don’t have to do anything else. Sound quality also seems very good.
Pretty good
I have other earbuds that are more comfortable and lighter. The 85dB volume limit is good for protecting hearing but often means I can’t hear anything when I’m operating a loud machine. I do like the adjustable volume for transmitting sounds from around me – it’s great to be able to have a conversation without removing the earbuds, then turn down that volume when I don’t want to hear my surroundings.
I’ve been using them for a few days now, and I have to say they’re amazing! The fit is super comfortable, the sound quality is clear, and the noise isolation works really well. What I love most is the Aware feature it blocks loud noise but still lets me hear important sounds like someone calling me or a vehicle nearby. That makes it perfect for work or outdoor use.
The Bluetooth connection is stable, the battery lasts a long time, and the call quality is crisp and clear. I use them mostly while working in the yard or doing chores, and they make everything so much more pleasant.

I am very pleased with the purchase of SOtunes PRO Aware 2.0. This is ideal for the protection of hearing and the comfort of hearing. The headphones reliably block out external noise (NRR 26 dB), but thanks to Aware Technology, I can still hear slightly important sounds nearby – which adds a sense of safety, especially when working with technology or in a noisy environment.

I purchased the headset with the hopes it would work in a loud industrial environment (saws, dryers, presses). The headset does a really good job of filtering out the loud noise (think earplugs) and picking up people’s voices as they spoke in an office environment and/or while the machinery was not running. It also did great damping loud spike noises, say if something were to make a loud noise as it hit the floor.
However, in the industrial environment picking up people’s voices did not do as well as I hoped. I do have some hearing problems, but the industrial noise overcame the voice of the persons I was trying to hear.
I rate the product as a four star for this reason.
In all other respects, I would heartily recommend this headset for office environments and perhaps even a sports stadium. Like I said, walking around and talking with people in the office or outside in the wind the headset worked as advertised.
Also, I’ll note the bluetooth pairing was very smooth between my iPhone and the headset.
