Works for my dwarf hamste
Nice and deep. Lid doesn’t lock down properly. Translucent, not totally clear. Bottom doesn’t always lay flat. Slippery glossy texture makes it easy to wipe and makes it hard for hamster to climb out. Sturdy. Easy to drill through flexible soft plastic to customize. Thank you. I just wish the lid was sturdier.
I have bought these a number of times over the past 6-7 years. They are without a doubt the best storage containers out there. Nearly flat sides and corners allows more items to be packed, especially boxes and the size allows plenty of storage room. I buy a 3 pack yearly before the holidays.
Only downside is the seller. Some pack the containers poorly so that top corners are cracked as well as the lids. Others pack them perfectly and there is no damage. Just becareful of the scam artists out there. they advertize a great price for what is consdered a 3 pack and when you read the description it is only 1 box. Fell for it this year but got 2/3 of the money back thanks to Amazon.
Great product and they stack so well. Iris makes great products but you cant find these at local stores so I always order them online.
This tote is expensive at $69 for one tote – you can find a dark colored tote of the same size for much less but if you need a sheer/light colored large tote this is it!
I am using it for a cat-litter box. It needs to be tall for my elderly cat, and needs to be light colored so the litter-dust doesn’t show so much, and sheer so the cat can see if the other cat is waiting to pounce.
This tote is sturdy so I will be able to cut an opening and also use the top without worrying about it caving in.
I was on the hunt for a container that would store my Christmas ornament trays. I ordered a set of three ornament trays that had 4″x4″ slots, four slots wide and six slots long, so each tray could fit 24 ornaments. This container was the only one that could fit them perfectly! It fit the three sets of trays long ways. It had a little bit extra room with the length so I could fit my Christmas Nativity along the side. In addition, I was able to also fit my other two trays, these trays were for 3″x3″ ornaments, each with 24 ornament slots as well. They fit snuggly side by side on the top, which was perfect! If you need a container to hold ornament trays, I highly suggest this container, it was the only one that fit perfectly. It had straight sides that went all the way down, so no ridges to get in the way and prevent the trays from fitting properly. The plastic is very sturdy and very supporting, I had no issues with it cracking. The only issue I did have is the side lid clamps. One of them clamped shut snugly, while the other one was loose. Honestly, I wish there was a few more clamps on the sides to add extra support, but this was the only problem I had. The lid is not secure completely because of the one clamp being loose. However, I still love it.
I bought this size container to put under my bed, as the height of this container fits perfect, slides right underneath. The containers came in good condition, no cracks. 1 lid out of 5 was missing the black clip on handle. The manufacturer wouldn’t ship it to Hawaii as the shipping is costly. So I had them ship it to my niece in Washington and she will mail it to me.
Three years ago, ou 12 year old cat died. It was a horrible occurrence, as he was truly a member of our family. He was a present to our granddaughter, but she had to give him up 6 months later and we were the most logical choice. We had him ever since and it is impossible to say how he fit in.
Then he died.
And, after a month of mourning, our daughter told us to stop crying and adopt another cat. We took her advice and went to the local shelter, which we had been supporting monetarily, and adopted two 6 week old kittens …. not just any kittens, but two males from the same litter. One was orange, like our recently lost cat and one was tabby gray, with strong hints of orange.
They just turned 3 years old.
They are playful, affectionate and keep us amused for untold hours. Over the three years, we have used many litter boxes for them, and each is soon outgrown. One thing they all had in common, they couldn’t keep the litter in the box. The cats are diggers, and they love to throw the litter. Out last box wall similar to the “PetFusion BetterBox Non-Stick Large Litter Box”, but we bought it from a local pet store. It soon left us wanting something better. I search high and low and ….. finally, I found this box. I ordered two ….. and each has 30 pounds of Purina Tidy Cats … glade sented …. and, while they still manage to throw some litter out of the box, it is far less than our other litter boxes.
OK, so it isn’t meant to be a litter box, it works and that is the main thing!
