Our expensive cushions were looking sun bleached even though they had been protected with scotchguard. Looking for an alternative until we could find replacement cushions that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Came across these slip covers and they are great! Truly! Enough for our 4 chairs at a reasonable cost of $45. They are soft and stretchy. They fit our oversized cushions. We chose the Paisley print. Others have said they will sun bleach as well. I’ll wait and see about that but if they do I’d have no problem reordering these. The picture is before (solid print) and after. Love the Paisley print.
I bought the dark turquoise, and because of the time of day, they look dark blue. The color is as shown on Amazon. They will fit thick cushions perfectly. My patio furniture is vintage Walmart BHG that’s 12 years old, so my cushions aren’t the most current dimensions.
Sidebar: To make my set last this long, I sanded rust off and repaired holes with bondo 10 yrs ago, and it’s been painted twice and has the original cushions. Cushions don’t sit out in rain and are put away in the winter. The zipper water resistant covers I got on Amazon last year were a perfect fit. They make a crinkly sound and feel a little crispy, so I got these for the texture and for a new color. These are a much better texture, but the fit isn’t nearly as good as the zip covers. I have last year’s in the wash and will put them on for winter protection.
These covers are like shower caps, so they leave a gap. If your seating has solid backs, this is not a big deal. As you can see in the pictures, mine shows the backs. I played around with it and found a way to fix it. (Also shown) The back of these has one white elastic strap to hold it on, but it was loose. If the cover is loose on your cushion or the back shows, I hope the pictures help you. I pulled it up so it was tight on the bottom and had all of the extra at the top before folding it down and tucking the top inside and under the bottom corners. The bottom corners end up double wrapped. This is very stretchy and forgiving fabric. I’m very pleased with these and after I finish tidying the patio, I’ll post better pics.
These covers fit a variety of sized cushions because they’re very stretchy. (My set has 2 sizes of cushions) The material is lightweight, but appears very well-made. Although they do not completely cover the back of the cushion, I don’t see that as a negative. They are colorful, soft, and comfortable. They gave my patio set the update it needed. Best of all, the covers remove easily and are machine washable. Perfect since I have a dog whose pet hair clung to my original cushion covers.
I absolutely love these Bluebell patio cushion covers! I bought the 14-piece set for my new Athena outdoor patio furniture, and they completely transformed the look of my space for a very reasonable price. The color is beautiful — a soft, pretty bluebell shade that feels fresh and inviting without being overpowering. It gives my whole patio area a cohesive, updated vibe.
The stretch fabric with the elastic bottoms makes them incredibly easy to put on — seriously, they slip right over the cushions in seconds with no struggling or bunching. They fit my cushions perfectly and stay in place nicely. They’re also washable, which is a huge plus for outdoor use.
The best part? They protect my furniture from the elements and from my nine golden retrievers! Yes, they do attract dog hair (as expected with any light-colored fabric), but that’s totally okay with me — I just vacuum or lint-roll them as needed, and they still look great. Way better than replacing cushions or dealing with constant cleaning of the originals.
These were an inexpensive way to get a whole new look while protecting my investment. I’m thrilled with the quality and fit. Highly recommend!

Super soft and good value for the price.
Super soft. I’ve got the size small and they fit all of my cushions comfortably and some of the bottom cushions are on the larger size. Easy to place. Nice dark navy color. They are under a gazebo, so unsure if indirect light will fade them or not. I didn’t notice that why it colored dog hair does show up on it and it does not brush off easy. These are water resistant, but your cushion will get wet in the rain. These are a great value for the money. Makes an old outdoor set. Look new. The cushions we had were over 10 years old and I had a lot of wear now it looks like a new set. They are thin, but appear durable to normal wear and tear. I would highly recommend for a quick refresh of your outdoor furniture.

These are very nice covers. I love the colors. They really dressed up my old worn-out cushions at a much lower cost than buying new cushions. They stretched nicely, fit well, were easy to put on and the elastic back will help hold them in place, but I don’t think they would move much anyway. I disagree with “water resistance”. Some water rolled off and some soaked in, but it was the same with the original fabric on my cushions. That’s the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I was hoping for a little more water resistance. So far they are holding up well to my large (80 lb.) dog’s nails, and he has spent several days jumping up and laying on the chairs. I think I will be ordering a 2nd set of these covers. I had previously ordered cushions for the bench in my camper, and I don’t like the color…too blue, so I think I will order another set of these and cover up the “new” new cushions. It will be a bonus as I can take them off and wash them when they get dirty from camping.
After several years of dull, tan patio cushions, I was ready to buy new ones with some character. While shopping some crazy prices, I realized they are really still in good shape, but I could cover them all for less than the price of replacing just one. Enter these covers. They are great! Fit well on my deep chairs, and add the pop of color I craved. Now, if you will be mad because they don’t entirely cover the back of each cushion, move along. But they go on easily, look great, and serve the purpose at an acceptable price. I’m happy!
