Especially ideal for sump pump backup during blackouts, helping protect your basement from flooding. Maintains steady output without shutdowns, up to 94% efficiency ensures longer runtime from the same battery
- 【LCD Remote Control & Multiple Power Outputs】Easily monitor and control power with the remote LCD—no need to access the inverter directly. Features 4 AC outlets, a USB QC 3.0 fast-charging port, and upgraded high-power AC terminals for secure, stable connections when running heavy-duty appliances
- 【Built-In GFCI Protection – Safer Than Standard Inverters】Unlike ordinary inverters, HQST features built-in GFCI protection to help reduce electric shock risks, especially in wet or outdoor conditions. Includes multiple safety protections against overload, overheating, over/under voltage, and short circuits. Dual cooling fans auto activate under heavy loads or high temperatures for stable performance
- 【Pure Sine Wave Inverter – Clean, Stable Power】Delivers smooth, grid-like AC power with low THD (3%), far cleaner than modified sine wave inverters (typically 20–40% THD). Runs electronics quieter, cooler, and more efficiently with less noise and vibration, helping protect sensitive devices like TVs, refrigerators, microwaves, CPAP machines, coffee makers, and home audio systems
- 【Built for HQST Off-Grid Power Systems】Designed for 12V battery bank systems and fully compatible with HQST LiFePO4 batteries, solar panels, and MPPT charge controllers. Ideal for RVs, camper vans, trucks, off-grid cabins, marine applications, home backup, and emergency power during storms or outages

I went to batteries plus store with the unit. Told them what the end use was and they sold me the perfect battery. I run my hurricane shutters up after storm with no power restored to house.
Works as expected
Works as expected. Using 4awg wire to an Anderson quick connect to connect to my battery bank in camper van. So far it hasn’t had any problems with loads within its range.
Solid pure sine wave inverter that I got to keep in my truck. I run power tools occasionally while at work, and this comes in handy when I don’t have an outlet in the field and need power via my truck’s battery.
It’s designed well with 3 outlets in the front. It’s got a 4000 peak, so don’t have to worry about the spikes when starting up a drill or saw. The fans didn’t even need to kick on while I operated my drill for a few minutes.
Comes with spare fuses and battery leads, though the cables are really short. Wish they were just a little longer so it would be easier to connect to my battery and sit on my work table.
No installation is needed if you just plan to use it occasionally. Just connect/disconnect to your battery as needed. It does come with a remote control that’s wired and needs to be plugged into the converter to operate it from a distance. Guess it’s nice not to have to worry about batteries for that though.
So far it has been functioning well the few times I’ve had to use it. Handles my power tools just fine, and obviously supports smaller appliances and devices with no issues.
Currently priced at $170 for the 2000w model, it’s pretty much the average going cost for these. I think it’s worth the money, especially for camping or using corded power tools out away from other power sources.
Easy to use and reliable
I used with with a 12V car battery to power a movie projector at a campsite. It provides very clean power with little converstion loss, and reports on the current battery health so you have a reasonably good idea of how much runtime you have left. I only ran with a 75W load and it was silent, though I’m sure it gets louder under heavy load and higher temperatures. A strange thing, though, is that it included a bag of fuses with no obvious place to use them or documentation in the manual on where they might go. It’s also competitively priced as a budget option versus higher end inverters, though I would wonder how long it could sustain the rated draw (which would pull 166A) over the included cables.
There weren’t many reviews when I bought this, but I am thrilled about what an awesome device it is and about HQST customer service. I installed this in an isolated (not hybrid) 400w solar panel system with a Victron MPPT solar charge controller and Ecoworthy 280ah Lifepo4 battery. From day one, this inverter has handled everything I threw at it (including half-hour 1875-watt draws) EXCEPT when I tried to run my furnace’s draft inducer (blower motor on gas furnace, which peaks around 850 watts and runs around 450 watts continuous), the furnace would stop drawing power before it began the actual heating cycle. I tried everything I could think to do, and eventually I contacted HQST customer service. They suggested directly wiring it instead of using one of the outlets, and BAM, it worked!! In the close-up image, it’s just a temp/test run with 16awg wire: NOT for sustained use, just for testing. Now that I know it works, I feel comfortable enough to hack up a super heavy duty outdoor-rated extension cord to hard wire it in place. THANK YOU, HQST!! If the grid power goes out, my family and I will stay cozy without needing generator power.
It's made by HQST.. says it all
I am very impressed with HQST they are a top tear product at a bargain rate. Look into it you will be amazed at the features built into there products. Usually surpassing the more high end brands yet costing half the price.
I used this inverter for a replacment 2500 watt with ATS it was a off brand and when running our mediun size residential refrigerator in our RV it was working to keep it running.
This HQST is so much better it not even breaking a sweat I just had to use a external ATS well worth the extra partband the extra wiring.
