The size doesn’t work to be mounted floor to ceiling in my home but the attached wall anchor works perfectly fine to hold it up and in place. My two cats love it! It’s well made and easy to put together, took maybe 20 mins. Plenty of room as well for the both of them and my male cat is not tiny by any means.

Giving 5 stars because it’s exactly like I imagined it’d be when I read the description and details. If it snaps or breaks prematurely, I’ll edit my review accordingly. Will give a fair, transparent synopsis for the people who like to read, and will attach pics for people who like to see real life photos of products before they buy, like me! Cause let’s be honest, we’re tired of the overly photoshopped images online, haha.
*Packaging & Delivery*
I ordered this during the 2025 CyberMonday sale, which had it listed for $79.99. Shipping was fine; it came in two boxes, likely to protect the box it originally comes in. I ordered it on Dec 1st and it arrived on the 10th. It would have arrived sooner than that, but I had set my order preferences to be later, so it would arrive at the same time as everything else I had ordered that day. It’s decently heavy. At the end of the booklet that comes with, it shows a diagram for you to follow to turn the box it comes in, into a little cardboard shelter for the cat, if desired, which I honestly thought was cute, since I hadn’t seen that done before.
*Building Time & Pieces*
My boyfriend and I just built it today, and it took about an hour. He used an electric screwdriver with the correct bit, but it provided an allen wrench which also proved useful for some of the tight places. He originally thought the booklet on how to build it was missing, but it was tucked in between some of the flat/flooring pieces, so just look carefully at those if you or your SO can’t find it either, haha. Besides the allen wrench, it comes with +1 of each screw type you need, just in case you lose one during building, along with two additional toys (the balls on string, lol) I guess for the same reason. It also comes with a standard screw and wall anchor, for the wall strap if you decide to use it. Also, you will want, if not need, a step stool or a secure chair to step onto during this build – even if you’re 6’+ tall.
*Material*
It’s particle board and plastic, with a thin, furry fabric and sisal. The usual material for many current, more affordable trees. If you were expecting it to be solid wood, have real, thick carpet and be sturdy beyond belief, look up the brand “Molly and Friends” – they’re honestly a good brand, but you’re paying the difference in quality.
*Building Tip*
The boxy house part of the tree, on the 2nd level in the photos, only has the particle board on the top and bottom. You have to install 4 small, skinny cylinder pieces inside it, in the corners, during the building process. I only mention this because I was a little surprised to see the house collasped on itself as it had no walls. You can’t tell in the photos. I also mention this because the house will have two screw holes each in 4 of the 8 corners (top and bottom)– Be sure to install those small cylinder pieces into the actual corner holes. It may be easy to accidentally screw them into the wrong one and you’ll be forced to correct it to progress building up the tree. My boyfriend totally didn’t do that and I totally didn’t have to point it out. ;p — I attached photos of this to my review; you’ll notice where they attach and where the other parts are supposed to go.
*True to Height*
It’s tall. Measure your floor to ceiling height. I did, and I knew I was ordering a tree too tall for mine (my walls are under 8′). I still ordered it for the *just in case*, and also because I liked that it had an extra piece at the top with sisal wrapped around it. I have two 6-month old kittens that love scratching things up. This tree was too tall for my house, and I had to install the top, ceiling-wedging piece directly to the top bed piece (this was the only, real annoying part of the build), forgoing that exact sisal piece I wanted to keep, LOL.
I ended up wedging said piece on the bottom though, like an “additional leg”, since it’s the same length, but I didn’t secure it with screws because I didn’t want to risk ruining the particle board and fabric, and my boyfriend didn’t want to do that tedious task, haha — if the piece topples over, I’ll wedge it back in place. It won’t be a big deal. But I will say, it was really funny watching my boyfriend build this, without knowing how tall it was, and him saying, “There’s MORE??”.
Just a side note, there was not a hole in the bed fabric at the top; you’ll have to puncture it yourself when it’s time to screw the top, final piece(s). Also keep in mind the tree is THIN. Small base, great for small spaces – another reason why I wanted it. I just didn’t have space in the living room for a large based tree.
*Kitten Review*
This is their first cat tree. It’s long (2-3 months) overdue that they got one. I really hope it’ll derail them from jumping on my damn kitchen counters, lol. They REALLY like the toys. They don’t go high up (on their own) yet, but I’m sure by tomorrow they’ll be lounging up on top like in the photos I took (we placed them up there). They’re also slowly learning how to get down safely from the top – which the boyfriend showed them how (by picking them up and down from each level, showing the footpath to them, loool), otherwise they just launch themselves from the top to the floor. I’m confident they’ll be pros in no time though.
My cats love this thing. Super sturdy and tall just what we needed. Quick and easy to assembly. Shelves are super soft and it looks great in my living room.
It has a small footprint and takes up less floorspace than wider cat trees, perfect for smaller spaces, and looks nice. If you tighten it enough, it is quite sturdy with the topmost height level to brace it, otherwise it would need a wall brace. My kitten loves it at the top bed height. My bigger cat, 1 yr old but large breed at 11+ lbs., can’t really get past the second platform up, and the baskets would not stand up to regular use from him. Also, the baskets remain loose no matter how I tried to tighten them. Neither cat uses any of the scratch materials for scratching, as they seem to prefer softer fabrics.
Small footprint yet very roomy for our large cat. Easy to put together, and the manufacturer included a few extra screws just in case. Purchased to fit our RV with 9.5′ ceilings, yet with a simple modification (we left one piece out) it works with our 8′ ceiling in our home. Well constructed and offers plenty of places for our cat to explore.
My cats are obsessed
I didn’t realize how tall it was going to be! My cats are over the moon with it, they are always laying on some part of it. It was pretty simple to build and is sturdy
