I bought this cart to use for makeup and spare toiletries in the bathroom. It is a little short for that, but I still like it! Very easy to assemble and includes all required tools. Looks reasonably nice for what it is. Pretty sturdy. The wheels are high-quality metal, which was part of the appeal of this cart for me–and they do indeed roll smooth. I do not regret this purchase!
Here are a few tips for assembling the organizer:
1. **Carefully inspect your pieces and ensure that all parts are oriented correctly.** If you don’t, you might end up like me, putting everything together only to realize that the tracks are on the outside when you go to put the drawers in.
2. **Utilize power tools to save time.** Utilize power tools to save time. However, be patient and use them slowly. The hardware isn’t incredibly strong, and I managed to snap a few screws off the top by being overzealous..
Overall, the assembly took me well under an hour, and the final product looks just like the pictures. The wheels are smooth and quiet, but I don’t recommend using this organizer on carpets with a high pile length. I have a shag carpet, and the wheel rolled fine, but the lever to lock the wheel is positioned in a way that makes it almost impossible to avoid getting it caught in the carpet, which could cause damage over time. Unless you plan on keeping it stationary, I suggest not using it on carpet.
The organizer is a bit small, so it may not be suitable for office use. If you need an organizer for your office, I would recommend looking for something larger. However, it works well for a small vanity or beauty cart.
The drawers pull out and go back in smoothly, even more so when you add some weight to the drawer. The organizer doesn’t have much depth, but it can still hold a lot of makeup items and other small items.
I think the organizer is sturdy and looks just like the pictures. Overall, I’ve loved it for saving space on my vanity and providing much-needed storage space for my beauty area without taking up too much of it!
