Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFront Control pad went out, this part was the solution!
We have a GE side by side that is going on 11 years old. Never had a problem until recently the front keypad went out and we noticed the temperature slowly rising in both the freezer and fridge, so my husband checked the control board and it had 2 black/burn spots on it. He searched the model number on Amazon and we found this product. Of course, I was skeptical at first because there are very few reviews. Also, you can’t return the product after testing to see if that was actually the solution, but thankfully it was! It was here within 2 days and very easy to install. It’s been working perfectly for about 2 weeks now.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersExactly what I needed
The compressor fan went out and the water stopped dispensing. Food on the top sections of the freezer and fridge were getting warm.

When I opened the cover with the 1/4″ screws on the back, I could see that the circuit board was burned out. This fixed everything and only took about 5 minutes to replace.

    Good buy
I experienced an electrical outage that damaged my GE refrigerator. I called the supplier, and they sent a repairman for $80. He informed me that a part was damaged and it would cost $500 for the replacement, plus another service call. I was without a refrigerator for two weeks while searching for the part. I eventually found it, installed it myself, and now my refrigerator is fully functional again. The part was brand new, not refurbished. I highly recommend this part if your GE refrigerator requires the same replacement.

    This board fixed our fridge!
Our refrigerator started to make a clicking sound, and after looking online I found it was the relay on the control board. Apparently these fail after 10-15 years. I ordered one, and a few days later our fridge was running again. So yeah, if you have a GE fridge that uses this board and it starts acting weird, it’s probably this thing. Hopefully it goes another 10-15 years before I have to look at it again.

    Control board worked as expected.

Note to seller, board was delivered wrapped in a pink plastic bag.

The board is a delicate electrical part.

Indestructible Amazon deliveries usually arrive in an oversized cardboard box cushioned with lots of paper.

Completely unnecessary, ,but this delicate part was unprotected.

Luckily it still worked and the only visible issue was a couple of the diodes were bent over, I straightened them and all is good.

Recommend improving packaging as it wouldn’t take much to render this expensive board useless.

    See photos.
