I cook on cast iron on this stove nearly every night. I got tired of the grease splatter inside the house. It definitely burns much hotter than my inside stove. I only use the lowest settings to cook chicken thighs, steak, bacon, and eggs. I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks, and it works great. It’s easy to assemble and easy to light. I also bought the cover, which you can see, was a good idea. I also recommend the table from Mountain Summit Gear. It is very stable and works well with my new Weber Smokey Joe 14″ grill.
Bought one in 2025 and it’s never given me problems. Just purchased and received a second one. Got tired of moving the first one to and from the patio and camper. Got the windscreen and cover as well. I’ll use the scree for the burner kept with the camper and the cover for the new one under the patio. Great product, good quality.
I bought this for my new tamale business. Sturdy enough to hold 2 32 quart steamer pots with 4 dozen tamales and water in each one. Have had no issues with leaking hoses, connections, or tubes as other people seem to have had, nor have I had issues with paint or anything burning off the burners or marking the bottom of my pans. Very easy to use and set up. It just took a few times using it to fine tune the amount of pressure to use to get the pots on a very slow simmer. My one complaint is that I wish the windscreen extended downward, or that there was one available to get because I’ve used it in breezy conditions and all the wind comes up from the bottom so I was having to continually relight the burners. Some plywood and push on clips to attach to the legs took care of it though. I also bought the carrying case. Everything fits neatly inside and makes going to events that much easier. I’ll be buying a second one very soo
Works well so far. Easy to assemble legs and wind screen. Good powerful flame on both burners. Used this weekend for a clam bake. Burners were going for hours without issue. Next day steamed oysters and clams – all good. Easy to remove legs and very easy to store when not and easy to pack for travel. Remember, no lighter. Pick up a lighter with extension.
