Top notch portable FM radio. I love this radio. High quality look and feel. The sound through my headphones is fantastic. Nice and small Easy to tune. Has lights on the front to help tune the stations. Recharging is easy. There are cables available to hang radio from your neck. And cases also. High quality recommend
Sweet modern unit with retro desig
Great sounding tiny FM radio with very impressive reception at an amazing price. Got me back into listening to FM radio.
Zero complaints for the price. I have some well reviewed FM radios that cost more and don’t sound as good. And I really like the size and design and metal body of this FiiO.
This is mighty powerful and mighty fun. I am not an AM radio buff so the lack of it did not deter me from making a purchase. i previously bought the FIIO cassette player and was impressed. I am 51 and am enjoying the nostalgia with new but retro tech. this tiny radio is great. the included wired earbuds are pretty good, this sounds even better with wired over the ear headphones. Using this as headphone amp (use C to C cable also included) is good too! I went straight to a hiphop station to test the magic bass boost…fun fun fun. buy it, it will make you smile. i do think it is worth 60.00 (tax included). it is gorgeous and well made.

I got this little retro rm radio to not just listen to radio but bevause i got a $13 little 3.5mm plug to FM transmitter here on Amazon and it transmits 300+ feet–longer than Bluetooth so I just put my music player in my CAR and walk around the gym and exercise with this radio tuned to my music! Covers the whole gym! So simple and to me, better than bluetooth = music player 3.5mm out to the tiny 13$ fm transmitter to this bass-boosted little radio! Comes with very good headphones too. Good quality amp in this and it even doubles as a headphone usbC inline amp, but I’ve never used that. The rotary tuner is kinda sweet, I’ve not tuned a rotary dial in 15 years! Very retro! Love it… has pretty good reception too for an internal antenna-I don’t like the kinds of fm radios with the antenna in the headphones, you cant use ANY headphones with those gotta use the special ones with a “third rail/ring” connector for antenna…this uses any 3.5mm TRS standard headphone!
Works Great: Excellent Audio and FM Receptio
Audio quality is surprisingly excellent given the small size, and FM radio reception is equally wonderful. I’m able to pick up stations that typically come in scratchy on other radios with perfect clarity. Finally, the user interface is fantastic: I love the twist-to-turn-on volume knob, and the tuner dial. This thing is great, and I will be getting many to give away as gifts to friends and family.
Radio is great. I was hesitating but the sound quality is very good, and the amp has been very useful for a few different devices. Battery life is also very acceptable. I listen to multiple baseball games a week and probably charge once a week to two weeks.
This has has gotten me back into listening to the radio over music streaming. I ended up buying one for my wife because she was curious why I changed my behavior. I recommend buying different headphones or buds compared to the included ones. I am very satisfied with the purchase.
Not as good as their 100+ usd products and usb dac options are a great addition I wasn’t expecting! However, while sound quality of fm radio is good it’s not stellar just great. The USB external dac for that purpose is not brilliant as it is possible to lose the small but high quality dac amp chip cable. I fail to understand why fioo did not make the device larger to accommodate the additional usb dac amp chip property cable but an extremely welcome addition nevertheless.
This is not for the people using their high end headphones but more mid range headphones likely the Koss Porta pros. This radio can power the hifiman Sundara closed and the ananda open back planars but I somehow expected a bit better.
Bass options one and two really help with listening to natural public radio normal and their npr music stations.
I’m absolutely Reccomending this to audiophiles who understand the limits of the device but can appreciate what it does so well for the price at a tiny size and tiny weight despite being made with some kind of alloy and plastic. A solid purchase for any person wanting radio on the go with improved sound and enough power to let your high end headphones function properly despite being mid tier sound (far above average for a portable radio this is a clear way to get the sound you want ans not break the bank).
Buy this as an additional item to your collection and not as your primary device. However it can function as your primary device if you need to fit this price point for a radio with a solid external USB chip cable.

I liked this radio a lot. Never used it as a standalone headphone amp, only as a radio. I didn’t grow up listening to the radio and this opened a whole new world for me. I discovered a lot of great local channels and also unlocked a new pastime activity. I can take it and headphones with me and listen to the radio on the go, or connect to my speakers and listen to it in my house. It is on the more expensive side for a portable radio but it feels like a very high quality product. Very pleasant to use. It has good reception for the size of its antenna. Gifted mine to my mom as she liked it a lot too. Going to order a second one for myself.
Already have their CD and cassette players, figured why not get this and complete the set? Figure it would be great for travel as a radio and amp. Same high end build quality and the initial packaging gives you everything you need to plug in and go. Easy to use, intuitive, small, lightweight and a fitting throw back to days past. Reception is great, plenty of volume and the sound quality is impressive. The three position bass switch does exactly what I remember older players doing…only this is arguably better. Coolest feature is using it as an amp/dongle for another device, like my phone right now. It’s about on par with my THX DAC and can provide plenty of juice to my DT700s and HD600 headphones. Currently listening to a streaming service with my Koss Porta Pros. Overall I’m very impressed by this. Now I wait for Fiio to develop a record player (red, please).
