Let me just say, getting these gloves made me fall in love with training all over again.
I got 16oz as a 6ft4 180 pound guy with normal hand size, they are somewhat big on the inside but with adequate wrapping I have never had any problems with it.
It doesnt arrive as stiff as other leather products, easy to make a fist and clinch with. probably the best glove for clinching practice. I also love guarding up with these gloves because of the padding everywhere.
Even though they are 16oz, they feel lighter, and my hands fly during sparring. this is because padding is not concentrated at the knuckle, it is evenly distributed throughout. blocking kicks is also a breeze because of this design.
one little problem is the thumb. it kind of sticks out, there were 2-3 times when I actually accidentally poked my sparring partner with it. it happens very rarely and is most likely my fault, but it has never happened with another glove.
To sum up, this is easily one of the best muay thai gloves you can get, and is fully worth it’s price. wrist support and hand room inside might not be the best, but I actually like both features and never had any problems with it.
If your looking for 1 good pair of gloves for Muay Thai, I would recommend this instead of getting 2 cheaper pairs.
Bvg1 is a multipurpose glove, you can use it for daily training, bag, pads and sparring. The Gloves are quality made and even smells like it and feels like it.
Some background information. I was an mma fighter for a few years and currently train a few times a week to keep in shape.
I love these gloves. They are made out of quality material, have enough padding and is really an excellent product. They are the most comfortable gloves I’ve had. They take a week or so to break in as they come pretty stiff as new but once you use them for a few sessions you should be good. I’ve had them for about 2 months now and they are holding up really well, everything from the stitching, to the logo, and the velcro. The only thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars is that they are very short and does not do a great job at protecting the wrists which can become a problem when working on power on heavy bags.
Other than that I would definitely recommend these gloves to people that have been boxing for a while, not so much to newbies as the lack of wrist protection may cause problems. Also always make sure to wrap your hands adequately when using the gloves!

This was a Christmas wish from my daughter and am I happy to find it here. Very reasonably priced compared to local websites. Really happy I bought it. It was also delivered really fast and packed Ok. Since it’s a gift, I didn’t open it yet but based on cursory check, it’s good.
These Fairtex gloves are excellent — great wrist support, perfect padding, and a comfortable fit even during long sessions. The leather feels high quality and durable, with that classic Fairtex craftsmanship. They break in quickly and provide solid protection for both sparring and bag work. Definitely worth the investment for anyone training consistently in boxing
