I own 2 other juicers and this one just may replace the other 2 as my favorite, by far. It’s important to note that this is a citrus juicer, not an all around juicer. Having said that, it juices more than just citrus. I’ve tried lemons, limes, oranges and strawberries and all juiced quickly and easily.
One of the differences between this and my other juicers is that with this I don’t have to peel the fruit. If you’ve ever peeled a lime, you know that can be difficult. This juicer extracts more juice from citrus than any other juicer (electric or manual) I have ever used. It comes with 2 different cones, one for citrus and a second “grinding” cone for things like grapes, strawberries, etc. Does a good job grinding the berries, but you will get a pulpy, thicker juice with those types of fruit. Important to note that this juicer is not for things like carrots.
I noticed that this machine stays contained. There is no mess and no juice escapes (unlike my other machines, which make a huge mess). Juice stays contained visibly in the bottom of the chamber, only to be released when you open the spout. Otherwise, the rubber gasket prevents it from leaking. There is a “warning” line so you know when it’s reaching its capacity for holding juice.
Clean up is incredibly easy… another huge difference with this machine. Other machines have so many pieces and parts to clean and put back together. This machine is so much more simple in design and very easy to take apart and clean. Comes with a small brush to help, but I didn’t even need it. Everything twists back on for easy storage. Almost half the size of my other juicers.
Price at time of review was $53.99. I think it’s a great value.
I ordered this electric citrus juicer because I enjoy fresh orange juice and frequently use lemons and limes for cooking and drinks. While manual citrus juicers certainly work, they can become tiring when juicing multiple pieces of fruit, so I was interested in seeing whether this hands-free electric model would make the process faster and require less effort. After using it with several types of citrus, I found that it offers a nice balance of convenience, ease of use, and simple cleanup, while still having a few considerations that buyers should keep in mind.
The first thing I noticed was how straightforward the setup was. There aren’t a lot of complicated parts to assemble, and the controls are easy to understand. Once the fruit is cut in half and positioned correctly, the juicer does most of the work automatically. This significantly reduces the amount of pressure and twisting that’s normally required with manual citrus juicers, which may be especially beneficial for anyone with limited hand strength or those who simply juice citrus frequently. Automatic citrus juicers are designed specifically to reduce user effort while extracting juice efficiently from fruits like oranges, lemons, and limes.
Performance was consistent across oranges, lemons, and limes. The machine extracted a good amount of juice while leaving the rinds fairly well compressed. As with any citrus juicer, the exact yield depends on the freshness and size of the fruit, but I felt it made efficient use of each piece. It also handled different citrus sizes without requiring much adjustment.
One feature I appreciated was that the process stays relatively clean. Because the fruit remains contained during juicing, there was less splatter than I typically experience with handheld juicers. That made cleanup around the countertop much easier, particularly when preparing several pieces of fruit in one session.
Speaking of cleanup, this is another area where the juicer performed well. The removable parts separate easily, making it simple to rinse away pulp and juice residue. The included cleaning brush is a thoughtful addition because it helps reach smaller areas where pulp can collect. I found that cleaning immediately after use took only a few minutes and prevented dried pulp from becoming difficult to remove. Removable components and prompt cleaning are generally considered important for maintaining electric citrus juicers and preventing residue buildup.
The machine also feels reasonably sturdy for everyday household use. The housing doesn’t feel overly flimsy, and it remained stable on the counter while operating. It isn’t completely silent, but the motor noise is what I’d expect from a compact electric kitchen appliance and wasn’t excessive.
There are a couple of things worth noting. This appliance is designed specifically for citrus fruits, so it isn’t intended to replace a full-size juice extractor for apples, carrots, leafy greens, or other produce. It also requires a little counter or cabinet space, although its footprint is compact enough that storage wasn’t an issue in my kitchen.
Overall, I think this electric citrus juicer succeeds at making fresh citrus juice more convenient. It reduces the physical effort involved, extracts juice efficiently, keeps the process relatively tidy, and is easy to clean afterward. While people who only squeeze an occasional lemon may not need an electric model, anyone who regularly juices oranges, lemons, or limes will likely appreciate the time and effort it saves. It delivers solid everyday performance without being overly complicated, making it a practical addition for households that enjoy fresh citrus juice on a regular basis.
