These were the same manufacturer of the LED lights that our contractor installed throughout our home. However, they only had one color (3,000k warm) which is fine in certain areas but not others. I saw Amazon was selling the new generation of LED lights from Ecoeler but now with a switch that allows 3 color temperatures “plus” with a higher lumen (that is the amount of light broadcast). Over the years, I was responsible for upgrading lights at my corporate headquarters and learned that not all LED’s are the same. Warm is a fine color temperature for a living room, but a kitchen is much better with the 4,000k (cool white) or 5,000k (daylight). In my kitchen, the 4,000 temperature is perfect. I have the ceiling can light switch on a dimmable Alexa-enabled switch (FEIT brand) which allows me to also dim these lights easily with no blinking or other issues.. I definitely recommend buying these lights. Installation was easy and the value to keep the lights on using LED lights is a no brainer! Ecoeler has more options at the store link shown on Amazon.
Bright and versatile
Purchased these to replace dated can lights throughout the house. Excellent in every room. Price is outstanding! My husband bought comparable lights same day for use in reno of $1M house. He paid $40 each at big box store!
I painstakingly measured and installed all 10 of these in my living room using remodeler ceiling boxes.
I installed them with an LED dimmer control rated at the total wattage and most of the time we keep them around 1/2 or lower brightness (see photo). At full brightness they are incredibly bright with the 10 in one room. We opted for the cool+warm setting after trying the cool-only.
One thing we did to make installation easier was to buy some shorter and better screws than the ones that came with these. Working overhead even with power drivers was problematic for the long screws.
And after getting them all up I decided to buy a second set in case any of these die early. They are inexpensive enough to make that a good idea for many years of good lighting.
They work!
These are what we needed to replace to match lights that the previous owner had up. We didn’t need this many at all, my only complaint is that I wish we had a few options of how many to purchase.
Can lights without the ca
I think these are great for replacing the builder bulbous light fixtures. They mount flush to ceiling and look like a can light and you can choose the light temperature. I installed 7 of them in no time at all and rid my house of ugly 2 bulb fixtures.
