Great little snacklebox!
I love that this one comes with its own thin ice pack and insulated carrying case. I’m not sure I’d trust it for 4-6 hours outside in the middle of the day in the summer to keep food cold enough for that long but possibly if you were using it inside or in an already cooled car. The plastic is average thickness for these types of containers and it has a rubber seal around the top edge. I do love that the top has a day/month thing built in so you don’t have to try to remember how long you’ve had the food in it and it! Overall very pleased!

Great for summer trips
This is excellent for summer trips, from road trips for snacks in the car to trips to the local pool, beach, lake, park, etc. When it’s hot and you’ve been in the sun, you don’t want sad warmish food, but nice crisp, cold veggies and fruit taste like heaven. This isn’t going to give you refrigerator cold, especially out in the sun, but it’s certainly better than warm crudites. There’s a little rack for each segment to allow for a small amount of runoff so your contents don’t get soggy sitting in their own juices, and that’s removable for items that don’t need that protection.

This is not dishwasher safe and that’s a pet peeve. One hundred percent the little containers are going on the top rack, and may the odds be ever in their favor. The rest is really only going to need a wipe down or rinse unless something has gone horribly wrong.

This would also work great as a portable condiment bar. The individual containers really do need lids of their own to keep the larger container clean, and it would make a lot less mess and clean-up in general, especially if your hands are full and you can’t carry it perfectly level. If they ever warp in the dishwasher, they’ll be replaced with small containers that actually do seal with airtight lids. As it is, I wouldn’t put bread or crackers in with anything high moisture like cut fruit or veg, for example, because they’ll get soggy or taste stale just from the humidity in an open shared container.

I do not generally recommend, but there may be some niche circumstances where it would be of potential use.

2 – Not even mid. Something here is not matching up with the description, or the quality is so poor that I cannot in good conscience recommend it in any situation I can think of. Descriptions might be poor enough not only to impact customer experience, but play fast and loose with terminology in a particularly egregious way.

1 – If I’m giving a one-star review, there is something WRONG, and I believe it to be intentional — eg not the fabric described, not the materials promised (esp with regard to leather, cashmere, silk, or jewelry), or similar issue such that I would tend to recommend avoiding the product altogether. I don’t just not-recommend this, I anti-recommend this.

I love this snack container for so many reasons. If I could give this item 10 stars, I would! For starters, it came with a carrying bag!This would be great to bring to parties. I’m always in charge of snacks and appetizers at holiday parties. This would also be great for football parties or to bring along to school games and camping. Ican think of so many places I’d bring this to. The container has four snap closures to keep it securelylocked and to prevent leaks. They have included a reusable cold pack so cold items stay cold traveling as well as while using it. I appreciate the day/month dial on top of the container. Super easy to keep track of when items were placed inside. The 8 compartments are wonderful. Easy to keep things separated. Each compartment comes with a piece of plastic with holes in it. This isn’t explained, but I am guessing these are placed in the bottom of each to prevent moisture on the food (such as fruit, not sitting in its liquid) as well as to help things not stick to the bottom. They are removable, and they have included an extra one. Above the month/day dial, there is a small compartment which holds an included plastic fork and spoon. You could also place some toothpicks in here for appetizers. The only downside of this is that it is handwash only. It is not dishwasher or microwave safe. This would make a great gift!
