Great little unobtrusive CarPlay unit.
I was looking for a small, simple and not too obtrusive Carplay unit on my motorcycle. I want to be able to use maps and access my music without taking my phone out of my pocket. And the Carpuride W502 fit the bill. It is small does everything it needs to do without going overboard with dash cams, tpms sensors etc..
Installation was simple enough. The screen comes with all the hardware and wiring. Connection to my phone is solid. I set it up so that it sends the audio to my Airpods, which I wear in my helmet (I ditched my Sena comm) What I did not realize is that I was unable to adjust the volume within the unit. So I mounted a small bluetooth remote to do just that.
No complaints. the screen is easy to read, responsive to the touch, even with gloves on. And it doesn’t cover up my existing dashboard. It’s a great addition.
Couldn’t be happier! Being in south Florida I was worried about mounting my phone and having it overheat, or fly off. This has been the perfect solution so far. Easy to use. Familiar and comfortable user interface. Glad I bought the 5″ don’t wasn’t quite so obtrusive and I can still see all the gauges when I’m riding.

Great product, screen is visible under direct sunlight conditions, works great. This might not be an issue with the device itself, but could be CarPlay related. if you accept an incoming call on the device, it will answer on the device with mic and speaker, instead of going to your bluetooth headset. Just need to make sure you accept the call via the headset instead. otherwise it is pretty solid product.
Todava no instal el producto, pero lleg en excelentes condiciones, y muy rpido el envo a Argentina una vez procesado el pago.
Lo prob en una mesa de trabajo y not que tiene puntos de calor en la parte de atrs, lo cual me hace dudar de la gestin del calor pero considerando que es un producto estanco y apto para intemperie, puedo suponer que fue la mejor solucin que encontraron, ya que en el andar de la moto se pueden reducir unos grados y eventualmente no afectaran al funcionamiento. Volver a resear una vez comprobado esto.
Por otro lado, a quienes viven en Latinoamrica, no lo recomiendo para uso diario si dejan la moto en la calle o expuesta a terceros sin supervisin. Indefectiblemente de esto, recomiendo que no lo instalen con el clip que viene incluido, te lo van a robar en dos segundos. Si o si montado sobre tubo, cuadro o manubrio, o consideren comprar la versin BMW que es desmontable, pero deberan adquirir por aparte el slot para instalarlo en cualquier moto, se consigue en Amazon o tiendas chinas, si tu moto no es BMW no marcar sensores lgicamente pero te quedas con la capacidad de desmontar y llevarte el aparato en segundos.
Recomiendo siempre la versin pro, unos dlares ms de diferencia con el comn, lo valen en las capacidades de procesamiento del producto. Un amigo tiene el 502 normal y es lento, al punto de ser molesto.
Got this for my 24 ktm 390 Adventure. Used a bracket it recommended and fits great. The screen is just the right size. I used the USB to charge and it’s held up well. I will admit it does shake a little while standing still but once you get moving I don’t notice it at all. Very clear picture. Once you are connected the device uploads key apps you will use such as texts, music, and maps. I’m very pleased with this set up.
I have a Carpuride on all my bikes and love the platform. This one went on my Yamaha tenere 700. For those reviewers who said the mounting block did not line up with anything on the Carpuride, it works fantastic on the stock tenere nav bar. You simply need to take the BALL off the mounting stem that is on the back of the gps and then put only the FRONT half of the mounting block onto that shaft the ball was on, then sandwich it around the nav bar and put the 4 screws in to compress it around the nav bar. I saw so many videos where people were using the stupid ram mount that also comes with the unit or having to use some exotic workaround to mount the unit to the nav bar when it really was straight forward and very secure. They just don’t mention it at all in the instructions.
Great unit and easy install. Wired it right to the extra accessory “key on” plug that come on the tenere (behind the side fairings). Love it!
Pretty straight forward install after looking at the brackets a bit. Instructions did not make things clear so if required a little thought. Works very well with my iPhone 15 bringing CarPlay to the motorcycle which is what I was looking for. I usually use maps or gaiagps for navigation, and it worked pretty well. Not super sensitive either my gloves, but I should not be fiddling with NAV very much when underway anyway. Great addition to the bike for the price. 502 size is perfect over the dash on my Versys X-300

I loved it so much, looks better than having to out your phone up there and risk the phone falling off. It mounts so it’s locked onto the handle bars.
