These are great! Having working in the food industry for way too long I can assure you there is no comparison between commercial food storage containers and those designed for home use.
These containers are designed to be efficient and last under far more hostile environment meaning they will last nearly forever in your home.
Stackable, stain resistant, easy to clean, virtually leak-proof. Buy quality and save in the long run!
Great for keeping broths and sauces in a compact container. The lids fitting on both sizes was really useful. Compared to other glass containers with all different lids depending on the size. I’ve been reaching for this type again and again. Takes fresh hot chicken broth from the slow cooker for refrigeration easily. Great quality material, really good hard plastic and comfortable to grip with smaller female hands. I’ll be buying more in the future, they clean easily as well, compared to other thinner plastic Tupperware it doesn’t stain and has no textured sides that hold grease/ oil. A great value for the long term use of storage ware.
Every home needs these! Compact and useful
Household staple. Very easy to clean, cleans nicely in dishwasher and have become a refrigerator storage staple in our house- don’t know how we did it without these. From storing and staving left overs or holding ingredients for an extended period of time.
Great containers but check your sources.
Ultra expensive on this site! In the early 20$ at costco. They are amazing containers for prepping ingredients. They are not so heavy that you can’t stack them, and the strong lids mean you can stack several of them on top of each other.
Cambro is a trusted name in plastic for commercial kitchens. These are great, I was looking for square deli containers and these came up, I didn’t hesitate to buy. I starting using them for organizing some small items not food related. Versatile containers, stack well. I made some stock from the carcass of a rotisserie chicken and poured the liquid into the small containers about 3/4 full and froze them with the lid on. 16 ounce is a good amount for this. After they freeze you can loosen them up and put the big cubes in a ziplock bag. I have a bunch of Cambro products and never regretted it.
Stick with the bes
Simply the best container for use in the house. Only wish they offer a few more sizes in the range and had the red or blue measurement lines like the commercial containers.
Items arrived well packaged, and after running them through the dishwasher, starrted using them.
We’re very happy with the seal provided by the lids. The plastic is of good quality and works in a microwave. We are using it for various food storage applications. Good value for the money and provides a nice solution for food strage.
These are a much sturdier version of the classic deli container. They’re durable, and are the best option if you’re wanting to cut back on single use/disposable plastic. Unfortunately, they have one MAJOR problem: The lids don’t stack together at all, and because of that they take up a massive amount of space. If Cambro can find a way to get the lids to stack a bit better these would pretty much be perfect.
