Best purchase ever. The easiest assembly. The only carrier on the market large enough for my 89lb lab. Bought because of the option to add skis. High price tag but built to last. excellent quality.
Brilliant - so easy to assemble and glides along
It is so easy to put together; no tools needed. And it glides along when using it as a stroller for our puppy.
We did get the bike shop to put the hitch on our electric bike. Did not do that ourselves.
We have not hitched it to the bike yet but will be doing that. And also need to work with our large dog so that hopefully he will happily go in it.
I will try to remember to update this review or add an update when these things have happened.
It is a brilliant productvery solid and high quality.
It’s honestly much nicer than I anticipated. The finish and feel are great and high quality. I can comfortably fit both my dogs in it (25 & 14 lbs) without any problems. Putting it together is a breeze and no tools are required at any point.
I got the Bark Ranger and not the XL. I debated the larger one, but I’m glad I got the regular size instead.
My tip for anyone buying this, pay attention to how it’s packed when you first get it. You can fold everything back up in that same order and zip close the thing for easy storage later. Took me a bit to figure that out.
I’ve not yet taken my bike out with it, using it only as a stroller so far, but I have no reason to think this won’t perform optimally during a bike ride.
Lastly, Burley sells individual replacement parts online, which is great for when this thing inevitably gets banged up.
We purchased the L, our friend bought the XL. Penny is a bit too tall for the L. If you have a tall or big dog definitely go with XL. The L is fine for a short dog but does not provide ample room for the giraffe legs of a doodle.
The base of the XL is 4in wider and the peak is 8in taller both are the same length.
The quality of the build is fantastic, materials are durable, assembly is simple, and overall a fantastic cart.
We returned the L and purchased the XL.
This not only met my expectations of what I believed I spent good money on but it exceeded my expectations. XL Burly Ranger was so easy to assemble a child can do it. It was roomy for my lab and Heeler. It performed like a Cadillac. Couldn’t even tell I was pulling an extra 100 lbs. and it pushes so easily. This is high quality. The stability exceeded on every point. It has very breathable mesh with no holes in the fabric.
I bought this to tow behind my e bike so my two senior dogs could join me as well. They absolutely love it. They are both a little under 50lbs and can both fit comfortably. It is super easy to put together, is very durable, and is definitely worth it.

Excelente para salir a rodar sin dejar a tus compaeros caninos y hasta felinos. Yo que me muevo principalmente en bici me es muy prctico y cmodo para ellos. Me encanta que sea fcil de acoplar, guardar y remolcar; y a su vez que sea tan bonito y resistente. Sper adecuado para trasladar a mi par de snior, mis perras activas cuando el sol no permite caminar y hasta para cargar las compras y dems. Lo he llevado tanto en asfalto como en terracera sin problema, el tamao estndar es ideal para entrar en ciclovas y aparcarlo en mi habitacin, en mi opinin no le hace falta nada. nicamente es preferible que al llevar como carriola se agregasen las llantas delanteras ya que el brazo puede ser estorboso y complicado de manejar. I can’t say enough about this trailer / stroller. I’ve been having so much fun with it. I hear a lot of trailers have a problem rolling when you turn. This one will not present that problem. Chock full of features very sturdy and moves extremely well with your bike.
I couldn’t be happier with my Burley dog trailer. The quality of the build is excellent, and it was easy to assemble right out of the box. My 70-pound dog and 25-pound dog both ride together comfortably, and they love sticking their heads out to enjoy the ride. The thoughtful design includes the option to put a net over them when needed, which is great for safety and comfort. The trailer is well-designed, sturdy, and has opened the doors to bringing my dogs along when we bike. Highly recommend it for any dog lover who enjoys riding along.
We also use this trailer as just a stroller since my large dog is elderly and it’s made it possible for her to enjoy long walks again.
