Helpful Protection for Our Backyard Pool
We recently set up an above ground pool for the kids, and this liner pad was a nice addition. It adds a protective layer between the pool and the ground, helping reduce worries about small rocks, roots, or other debris underneath.The material feels thick and sturdy, and it was easy to position before setting up the pool. This is exactly as described. I want to use it around my pool and the liner on the ground cuz I just can’t stand the mud and the grass and this does the job. I probably will get a bigger one next year so I could cover the whole ground under the pool when I can lift the pool.

This rectangular pool liner is made of a durable felted material made especially as a barrier between the ground and an above ground pool.
This will be put under an inflatable kiddie pool to help keep rocks, dirt, sticks and other items from poking through the bottom of the pool.
Everything suggests cutting the edges to fit the length and width of the pool, but I am hoping to leave it a bit long.
We have scorpions in our area and they will hopefully be visible on the black cloth. (I was stung by one a couple of years ago while playing with our grand baby in a kids pool.) I am hoping this will give that extra bit of protection to little fingers and toes.
These are easy to install on prepared and level ground. If you have a pristine and very level lawn, it can be set down on the grass.
Just know it will kill the grass because it will not get light.
Once the tarp is laid out the way you want and where you want it, place your pool on top of it.
This felt will not work for ever rectangular pool size. This particular liner is 11×7.5 feet, and it will work for a rectangular pool upto those dimensions. For larger aboveground pools a larger liner should be used.
This is the first time I will be testing this felt liner. However, everything I have read about this type of liner says it can be moved and re-used.
It is suggested to clean any dirt or sand off of it and make certain it is completely dry before folding and storing it.
I am sure there are many different ways to make use of this ground felt. One idea I just had was to lay it down as a barrier between a tent and the ground.
It is a great value, as it prolongs the life of the pool.
I will return with photos of this in use. Unfortunately it is extremely windy at the moment and the liner and pool would be impossible to set up until it’s calm.
Makes a huge difference and a must have
This made a huge difference in my above ground pool floor. I live in a very dusty dry and Rocky terrain and using this made all the difference in the bottom of the pool not ripping apart like previous pools did. A must have for your above ground pool
