Delightful bird house This 4 hole wooden birdhouse is a great addition to our bird community collection. It’s well constructed and has 4 separate compartments where birds can live. It seems solidly constructed, there was only one spot (pictured) where I saw a potential gap that water could get in to.
It did have a bit of a smell to it when it came out of the package, but it dissipated overnight after sitting in open air. The birds have shown cautious interest in it so far, so it will be fun to see if any nests get made this year. We have a ton of wrens and swallows and they love the little condos.
4 Hole Birdhouse with holes sized for small songbirds, Made to Resist Weathering Warping This review is for a 4-Hole Cedar Outdoor Nesting Bird House. This bird house is made from cedar, it’s treated to resist weathering, and reduce warping, but I’ll still try to hang it out of the sun. This design is supposed to attract small songbirds, and we have a lot in the area so I’m excited to find the perfect place to hang it. It’s easy to hang using the metal hooks on the back and the base includes space for birdseed. This is a nice bird house and would make a great gift.

The size is good, and I like the multi-hole design for additional nesting space. The wood feels sturdy, and the overall construction appears solid enough to handle outdoor conditions.
Installation was easy because it has built-in hanging hardware. It took only a few minutes to put up and start enjoying.
Attractive Cedar Birdhouse With a Few Mounting Limitations Overall, this birdhouse is pretty well made and thoughtfully designed. I really like the rustic style, and the cedar material construction gives it a natural appearance that looks right at home in a yard or garden setting. The wood components are well assembled, and the house feels durable enough to hold up to outdoor conditions over time. The entrance hole size and overall dimensions seem appropriate for many common backyard songbirds.
One thing I did notice is that the roof has some fairly noticeable gaps between the cedar slats. While this adds to the decorative appearance, it will almost certainly allow some rain to enter during heavier storms. Hopefully any feathered residents won’t mind a little moisture from time to time, but I would have preferred a tighter-fitting roof design.
My biggest area for improvement would be the mounting system. The included hanger isn’t a particularly sturdy or stable method of attachment, especially if you’re mounting it to a tree or surface that isn’t perfectly flat and vertical. There are no built-in provisions for securing the birdhouse with screws, which would have made installation much easier and more secure. In my case, I ended up making a small L-shaped wooden support for the bottom so I could level the birdhouse and fasten it directly to the tree.
Aside from those concerns, this is a well-made cedar birdhouse that looks great and appears built to last. Overall a good value for the money. With a more secure mounting option and a slightly tighter roof design, it would easily earn 5 stars from me. As it stands, it’s still a solid product and worthy of 4 stars.
Solidly built and ready for pai This is a lovely wood bird house. It is very cute and good quality wood. There were no defects in the build (like loose boards, or jagged edges) and it has that lovely wood scent to it. I honestly cannot tell if it is treated, but I plan on staining or painting it before I put it outside anyways, which should help it hold up in the weather.
It’s honestly a great size. Not too large but not too small. The four entrances for birds is really nice. I have no idea if that is a plus to birds or a negative, but I guess I will find out. I am really excited to paint this house and try and make it look like the house from Up.
On the back of the bird house there is a bracket that will make it really easy to hang from a tree or a post. I think the quality of this birdhouse is great and its listed for a good price.
