This SKVSKV Balcony Bar Table for Railings is of good quality, Everything in assembly matched up perfectly. With that said, I’ve had an off day and feeling foggy and my age. It took me an hour to get the bar together. It really wasn’t difficult I was just having difficulties holding then keeping the Allen wrench in my hand. I got my cordless drill out, it is easier to hang on to and keep in my hands. But yep, you guessed it, battery needed charging. Honestly, the cordless may have been overkill for the 12mm screws anyway. So I put it together with the included wrench. Then I couldn’t see the well-written and illustrated instructions- a one page pamphlet even with my strong glasses. Thank goodness and luckily I was able to reference the video on the description page! Thank you! I was able to enlarge the video and see what he was doing and I just followed him after drinking a cup of coffee. It matched up perfectly – everything I needed was included- and things came together quickly after watching the video. Some of the interior supports you attach directly to the bottom-side of the table-top (that are not exposed after assembly) have sharp edges.
The bar top is heavy-duty resin-type and weather resistant. It is a breeze to hang on about any railing and adjustable. It tightens down securely. All the support brackets are heavier aluminum and the screws are intended for exterior applications. Stainless screws and no rusting next year. To adjust your height consist of pulling a R pin out and moving the pin up or down into 5 different heights. I love that It folds down out of the way when not needed or can be left up depending on your needs. It folds away easily lifting slightly up and drop the front down. It is not real heavy. Putting it up is just as easy. Lift on the front and let the back slide into place. Simple.
This is perfect for sitting at outside for cruising the web, writing or coffee. It holds plenty with its size. I wouldn’t use it for heavy potted plants or allow kids to swing on it without an extra leg under it when down. It holds my laptop a normal sized plant, drinks and necessities easily and now two fat cats…lol. It is super easy to clean. This is intended to withstand the weather and exterior abuse. It looks uv resistant. The back has a backsplash and when the table is folded down the backsplash can lean up to hide the hardware leaving a nice clean look or can be laid down to make a four-inch-wide shelf for drinks, coffee cups, candles, etc… When the table is up and in use it keeps anything you may drop from going off the table and sequentially off the porch. They really thought of everything.
These are quality materials so I think the cost is justified.

Really quality parts. The aesthetics and build of this kit matches the balcony and build quality of a lot of posh or modern high rises I’ve visited or been to. Think of the feel and aesthetics of something like Atlantic Station in Atlanta, or some of the more modern high rises in San Fransisco/Seattle. It’s got that build and vibe.
The quality is top notch and it works really well. Does require some assembly, but it doesn’t take long. It’s heavy duty and very sturdy. Comfortable to work off of but you do need to bring your own seat.
Material is very nice. The bars have a aerospace feel to it, and the surface does have a synthetic feel to it but it looks good. Folds nicely, and fits great though it does favor thinner bannisters.
It’s pricey, but the quality matches the price. Has a very modern look to it.
An ingenious table / desk for balconies & patios!
If you have a balcony at an apartment, condo, beach housereally anywhere that has a rail around a porch or deck this is a pure genius invention. It’s particularly great for narrow or smaller decks and balconies.
This table attaches to the railing (the width of the railing can vary as there is an adjustable, vice like device at each end). It can be flipped out when in use and folded back down when not in use.
It was very easy to install, is long enough for snacks and drinks or dinner for 2 people, maybe 3 skinny people in chairs that aren’t super wide. Our son also uses it as a desk. There is plenty of room for a laptop, notebook, drink, etc.
The surface area is easy to clean and can be used for drinks, a desktop, snacks at a party, whatever you like. It’s easy to clean and put away when not in use. It’s very sturdy and well made, and appears like it will last for many years to come.
Sturdy Folding Table That Makes Good Use of Balcony Space
I mounted this table to my deck railing to create a small spot for coffee and my laptop. The aluminum frame feels solid, the tabletop has a smooth finish, and the adjustable height made it easy to set at a comfortable level. Once tightened, the table stayed stable while holding drinks and a small tray, and folding it down took only a few seconds when I wanted more room. Aluminum naturally resists rust, which helps it hold up better outdoors, although it can still pick up scratches from heavy use. I noticed the adjustment hardware needed a little extra tightening during setup, but after that it stayed secure. The weather-resistant finish wiped clean easily after being outside, and the folding design worked well without sticking. I like that it adds usable space without taking up the whole balcony. Very convenient for remote work or drinks with friends.

This hanging table gave me a better spot to place drinks and snacks when sitting outside in the evening. I attached it to my apartment railing near a small chair, and it folds down easily when I need more room. The aluminum frame feels durable and handles light rain without showing rust. Assembly was simple, and the adjustable height helped match the railing size without much trouble.
One thing I noticed is that the tabletop is not very large. A dinner plate, drink, and small plant already make it feel crowded. It works better for smaller items instead of full outdoor meals. The folding part also feels a little stiff at first and needed a few uses before moving more smoothly.

This bar table has so many great qualities. It is very well manufactured and the table top is designed to be used outdoors so it is very waterproof, rustproof, and doesn’t fade. It is made to look like a wooden table but it is manufactured from a plastic composite that makes it extremely weatherproof. I love that we won’t have to stain this bar table top to keep it looking nice and splinter-proof. It looks amazing without all the upkeep of outdoor wooden tables. It will last forever! Hurray!
The table is VERY VERY secure and such a great design. It can be folded down very easily when not in use and then very easily folds back up to make a table. I was so surprised by how easy it was to use AND being that easy to switch, it was surprising how stable and sturdy the table is when placed in the table position. I am extremely impressed!
The other area that is really impressive is that this table can be adjusted up and down 5 different height levels! There are two pins- one on each side- that just need to be pulled out and the table top moved and then the pins need to be placed back in at the different height level. This makes this balcony bar table so very versatile. We can sit at the table with all different heights of chairs, as well as use it as a bar when it is placed at the top position. I love that the back of the bar table has a vertical board to keep objects from falling off the back of the balcony.
Everything is so well thought out with this SKVSKV Balcony Bar Table. I was very surprised I didn’t even have to move my lights to use it. LOL. I was planning on moving them, but because of the design of the table I was able to keep them where they are at and still utilize all the options this table offers. I couldn’t be happier.
