These paper “grocery” bags are exactly what I was searching for. In my home, they are primarily used as a trash bag; fit my trash container perfectly, easy to collect household waste then send to the landfill for composting.
Unfortunately, several years ago, the state gov’t here has banned their use. I had a small supply saved and once I consumed that inventory, I refused to pay for what was always a free benefit from grocery shopping.
Therefore I came to Amazon and viola! Problem solved.
The bags are well constructed, long-lasting quantity, and a good value for the money. No longer dealing with onesie-twosie purchases when shopping then saving a quantity for future use.
These are great, very strong paper bags. I purchased them the first time when we had just remodeled our kitchen and added a built-in recycling drawer. We wanted to be able to lift out the filled paper bag and put it right into our large recycle bin that is picked up once a week. However, to our surprise, the bags survived wet recycling and never tore. So we ended up re-using the bags over and over again before we had to replace them. Our first 100-pack has lasted us almost 3 years! (And we have a lot of recycling!) We are now ordered them for the second time. I highly recommend these paper bags!
We use this bag for our daily kitchen trash. It’s a good bag except it lacks a little strength at the top. We roll the top of the bag down a little to give it more stability to stay open in our container. You have to develop a technique when folding it down or it will tear. Otherwise it does the job. We have been using the bags for about 3 years now.
Have not used these bags yet but are a bit thicker than the last order from another seller. Hopefully these will not tear and be more useful than previous ones.
