A great board, but check it before you build
The original board that I received had been inexpertly modified, but the replacement board was perfect and a very reasonable price for what you get. It was easy to install and had everything that was needed. The BIOS was pretty much automagic and recognized all the components from the start, I just had to click ok. The board was used to build a moderately impressive gaming computer for my son and he did most of the build. The installation was straightforward enough that he was able to do his first solo build with very little supervision. It is a five star board, but I docked it because I had to replace the initial one. I strongly advise examining it carefully before you start your build. It’s a very annoying thing to discover when you’re already into it. Asus makes some of the best boards out there so I made the mistake of not looking carefully ahead of time. I attached a photo of the damaged section of the original board.

After 3 weeks of ‘burning in’ I am quite satisfied with this purchase of motherboard. It isn’t the very top, but does have the necessary features needed for media related functions, plus the price was right.
