I am a committed Asics wearer. I used to run but now only walk due to advancing age. My last pair was Gel Nimbus 25, which I loved in my 11 4e size, but they set me back around $160. I wear a neutral to slightly under pronated shoe. I wanted something that did NOT have outrageous colors like so many running shoes, but simple black and white that would look OK to wear with slacks. I tried these Pulse 16’s for much less than the Nimbus, although I had to settle for a 2e width. Result? I like these almost as much as the Nimbus and like the conservative looks of the black. They are almost as comfortable as the much more expensive model.
Great value, comfortable, durable
Great value for a lightweight durable running shoe from ASICS. Very comfortable and a little wider than my previous ASICS, but I was looking for a bit wider shoe as well.
These sneakers serve me well. I have me wearing this brand since I been shopping Amazon. So satisfaction has been consistent so I decided to try some with the black soul now that I’ve been wearing them for a few days. I am impressed again. They are lightweight, comfortable, and fit my feet well so I made another great choice again And you can Too.
Love the shoe, love the color, love the comfort, and love the price. I’d recommend these ASICS over some that are $250 or so because of the design and the comfort.
Great beginner running shoe. I have a black and white pair and run a 5k in these almost everyday. Feels great on my feet while running and my feet do not hurt after. I would say true to size. Pretty good cushion. Has a springy feel to support running and walking.
