My kiddo has had this blanket for a year now, so time for a review! They have AuDHD and this helps so much with getting him to sleep at a decent time. It’s machine washable and CAN be dried in the dryer without damaging it. I was hanging it outside to dry originally, but had thrown it in the dryer once while in a hurry, but this didn’t damage it. It has been dried in the dryer several times since and I have not noticed any negative changes. The weight is perfect, very much worth the money spent, it’s not super soft, but it is good enough to not make the texture feel uncomfortable.
Perfect weight for my 6 year old! Blanket is well made and has a smooth side and a furry side. Both my kids have one and I’ll be getting one for my youngest when he’s older, only one now. Good buy for the money and kids love them.
My 3 year old has been having a very difficult time with bedtime (he always has really), and it’s a battle every single night to get him to sleep through the night, to go to bed, etc. We very recently discovered he loves the weight so ordered this blanket for him. He’s 35 pounds and we ordered the 5 pound blanket which seems perfect for him. It’s a perfect size for him, and it’s beautiful. He loves sleeping with it every night. This blanket is not a cozy blanket; it’s July and 95 degrees and this blanket isn’t too warm for him, so come winter time we definitely will either need to buy a warmer weighted blanket or add a blanket on top of this. This blanket is perfect for warmer weather though. For the amount I spent, this blanket is great. I don’t see it lasting super long, but he won’t be this small forever and will need a bigger one eventually anyways. I already have found one of the pockets is missing all its little beads and I have no idea where they went. So they do leak out.

Got this for my 4 year old nephew who is on the spectrum. Used to help him fall asleep faster and better along with thunderstorm rain sounds and pitch black room. He was out less than 5 minutes. Has nice weight to it and perfect for his size.
