I found the structural build and overall design to be impressive and sturdy. The 3-speed fan provided effective suction, handling various cooking needs from light simmering to heavier smoke. While the cost might be perceived as somewhat high, its performance generally justified the investment. Its compact design took up minimal countertop space and allowed for easy storage when not in use. It notably reduced smoke, steam, and cooking odors, preventing them from lingering throughout the space. Setup was straightforward with no installation required, and maintenance, including filter and grease cup cleaning, proved simple. I’ve generally had good experience with AMZCHEF and their products and not only did this not disappoint, but my mother is so impressed that she borrows it regularly even though she has a good vent and hood above her stove.
This item offers a practical solution for indoor cooking scenarios where traditional ventilation is limited. It serves as a functional tool for managing cooking byproducts.
Great for indoor griddle! We like to cook indoors as outdoors get swarmed with mosquitoes and flies. This helps keep it under control as now we can cook without it making the whole house absolutely stank
I live in a 100 year old house. There’s no exhaust.in the kitchen and I don’t have the means or own the house to install one. Even with the windows open the moister was peeling paint from the cabinets and I was setting off the smoke alarm almost daily. This little gem works amazingly! Sucks up all the smoke and the smell!
Works well
This is a portable rang hood for kitchens that do not have the facilities for an above stove installed one. It sits on the counter to the side of the stove and draws the smoke etc. into it and runs it through some filters before discharging the air on the backside of the unit.
But I did not get this portable range hood fan for that purpose. I’m using it as a larger version of a soldering exhaust fan at my electronics desk. This fan has much more suction power than the typical soldering station exhaust fan. It works well on its own, but I added extra carbon filters to deal with soldering smoke which is toxic compared to cooking smoke.
The filters are easy to access and clean as necessary. There is also a built in light which adds more light to my work station. A nice feature, but not one I actually needed.
The fan is larger than I had anticipated, but it works very well and I’m pleased with it. Therefore, I give it 5 stars.
I’ve been really impressed with this desktop range hood. It’s compact, easy to set up, and the suction power does a surprisingly good job of reducing smoke, steam, and cooking odors. I am so impressed with this AMZCHEF portable range hood .
I have a small kitchen and I cook a lot . I’ve got a new induction stove that I love but when I am cooking pasta water or soups , I do seem to get a lot of steam that stays near the stovetop and the shelf above the stove that holds a small microwave . All that extra moisture makes me a little nervous as it might affect the electronics in the stove and microwave .
I do not have enough space above my stove to have a large rangehood . This AMZCHEF portable rangehood just solved my steam and moisture problems . (and any cooking odors that linger )

This AMZCHEF portable range hood is well designed and made.
The product itself is large but not so large that it won’t fit on a counter or cool stovetop . I think its around 15 inches high and 6 1/2 Inches back to front . It’s very well balanced and sits steadily no matter where I put it . It’s easy to use. It comes with a removable cord and electric plug . Once pluggged in it takes just the press off a button to get the air moving to pull steam or smoke away . There are three speeds to choose from . The noise level is minimal.
This item comes with a washable a metal filter plus several cotton filters .there is also a removable grease cup . Installing and removing the filters from the rangehood is easy thanks to the magnetic tab that keeps the filters in place on the machine . I did have a minor problem with the magnetic tab as it wasn’t holding the filters in place very well. I resolved the issue myself by placing an extra tiny magnet on top of the one inside the rangehood.( I had a really tiny one that came off of small fridge magnet that I had on hand )
I am delighted with this product . It works great . I love that is easy to use and very sturdy .
The cost is a bit high , but it works so well worth the cost .
This is an excellent solution for small kitchen in need of some ventilation .

Great product! I don’t have an exhaust fan above my stove and discovered this on Amazon. I took a chance after reading reviews. It really cut back the cooking odor and I couldn’t believe how the disposable filter collected the grease when cooking oily foods. It also comes with a grease collecting cup. So far the filters are enough to collect the grease for the amount of fry cooking I do.

Out of the box, unit is large but lightweight
Instructions are plastic laminated and durable
Includes a 5 pack of disposable filters with rubber inserts, detachable mesh screen, and lots of instructions!
Power cord is a 2-prong dc outlet and is approx. 6 ft long
Unit itself measures approx. 14-14.5 inches tall with the vent head being approx. 7.25 inches wide
2 buttons adjust fan speed — low and medium at the top with a max speed option with the smaller button
Additionally, long pressing the larger top button offers a led light at the front of the unit
Overall, Im extremely satisfied with functionality here — in the video, I used steam to show how effectively the unit sucks up vapour, but its primary use in my home is with an air fryer — my house usually carries the scent of the fryer with a smoke haze at times and this unit eliminated about 80% of the affects of that. In addition, its easy to clean and maintain – light enough to tuck away, and easy enough for my kids to use it

GOOD QUALITY
At 30 inches, it fit perfectly under our cabinets and instantly gave the space a more modern, sleek look with its stainless steel finish.
What I love most is how effectively it clears the air. Whether I’m searing some Alberta beef and creating a bit of smoke, or just boiling pasta and dealing with steam, the 3-speed fan does a great job of quickly exhausting everything. The kitchen stays so much fresher! The bright LED lights are a huge improvement too; I can see what I’m doing on the stovetop so much better now.
The touch controls are really easy to use, and the remote control is a surprisingly handy feature — especially when my hands are messy from cooking or I’m keeping an eye on the kids playing nearby. And cleanup? So simple! The stainless steel filters pop out easily and go straight into the dishwasher. No more greasy, hard-to-clean filters. This range hood has made cooking more enjoyable and our kitchen environment much cleaner. Highly recommend it!
