Solid juicer that saves time on chopping
I have been trying to make more green juices at home but always hated how long it took to chop everything up into tiny pieces. I picked up this juicer mainly because of the huge 6.6 inch opening. It actually lives up to the hype. I can drop in much larger chunks of apples and celery without it getting jammed up, which cuts my morning prep time in half.
The motor is surprisingly quiet for a juicer. I usually run it early in the morning and it does not wake up the whole house. It feels pretty sturdy on the counter and the brushed silver looks nice next to my other appliances. Putting it together only takes three steps, which is great because I get frustrated with overly complicated kitchen gadgets.
As for the juice itself, the yield is great and the texture comes out super smooth. Cleanup is heavily advertised as just needing a quick rinse. It is definitely easier to clean than my old centrifugal juicer, but you still have to take the pieces apart and give them a proper wash to keep the pulp from building up. Overall it is a really good machine for the price if you make juice every day.
