Fits perfectly on a 8 foot galvanized stock tank pool I have a 8 foot galvanized stock tank. I have the pool noodles around the edge and a blue liner. THIS is the first cover that fits it perfectly! Highly recommend. It’s lightweight and the drawstring works well under the lip of the tank. I have purchase many and they are either way too big or too tight. Recommend if you have a 8 foot galvanized stock tank pool.
Using a Pool Cover for Firewood and It Works I ordered this cover to use in a slightly unconventional way. Instead of putting it over a pool, I drape it over a wood pile to help keep the firewood dry.
So far it has worked really well for that purpose. The material feels thick and fairly tough, and it does a good job shedding rain and moisture instead of letting it soak through. I also appreciate that it came with ropes and ground nails, which make it much easier to secure when the wind picks up.
The size also works nicely for covering a stacked pile of wood, and the black color blends in fairly well outside instead of standing out like a bright tarp.
Even though it is designed for an above ground pool, it has turned out to be a very practical general purpose cover. If you need something durable to keep things dry outdoors, this works well. I could easily use this to protect my large BBQ or riding lawnmower as well.
I obviously cannot speak to long term pool use, but for my unconventional use it has been holding up nicely. This is a 5 star item to be sure.
