Looks great and really sturdy
The drawers system organizer arrived in a nice time frame. I assembled it and found out that the bottom basket does not slide out. Other than that (which cost it a 5 star review), The assembly is pretty straight forward and all pieces to assemble were in the kit. The sturdiness is great enough for standard office work to assist with organization. It has really helped my organization of the clutter I once had on my desk. It is actually pretty versatile and accepts most all smaller office equipment helps with bill organization, which I really needed. I feel it is a great value for the cost.
Tamed the chaos on my desk!
4.5 Stars – rounded up. The 4-tier mesh desk organizer was extremely easy to assemble and took less than 5 minutes to build. The finished organizer feels solid and durable. The bottom tray is fixed in place, but the top two may be pulled out for easier access to the contents. I appreciate that the organizer came with small plastic pegs that can be placed into pre-drilled holes in the runners of the pull-out trays to prevent them from being completely removed. It is your choice whether to use the pegs to restrict how far the tray can be opened. The wooden top shelf is nice quality. The wood is smooth and mine had no scratches or marks. I was pleased to see that it was packaged with sturdy plastic corner-protectors, which prevented any damage to the wooden top during shipping. The one and only drawback is that the two removable trays do not slide in an out smoothly. They require a little more force to pull them out than I would have anticipated and they are a little “sticky” when sliding. Perhaps I screwed the bottom tray in too tightly and that is restricting the movement of the sliding trays? At any rate, it is only very mildly annoying and I did not feel like it was a big enough issue to dock a full star, especially since I am extremely happy with how well this mesh organizer tamed the chaos on my desk. I can actually see the top of my desk again and I know exactly where to find everything that used to sit in a giant pile.
Simple elegant storage solutio
Based on some other reviews, I feel like I got lucky with this organizer. It was easy to put together and only took me like 5 to 10 minutes, and everything fits together well and functions well.
The four tiers are one fixed shelf, two sliding shelves, and the top of the unit. I put my keyboard on the top to try to show the size, but of course keyboards come in a lot of sizes. It’s a good amount of storage space for something that goes on a desk or table, but it does have a pretty big footprint.
It’s sturdy and stable and the build quality seems good. The pieces assembled easily and the drawers slide in and out smoothly. The color of the wood top is just like pictures and I think it looks really nice in my office. I’m not sure I would pay the regular price of $30, but the sale or coupon price of $25 seems like a decent value.
Attractive Desk Organizer That Helped Free Up My Workspace
I picked this up to help organize the growing stack of folders, envelopes, and paperwork on my desk, and it has made a noticeable difference. Assembly was straightforward and only took a few minutes with the included hardware and screwdriver. The rustic wood top gives it a much nicer appearance than a standard metal organizer, and I ended up using the top shelf to display a couple of plants, which added a nice decorative touch while still leaving plenty of room underneath for storage. The mesh trays slide smoothly and easily hold letter-size folders, envelopes, and documents without sagging. I especially like that the open design makes it easy to see and grab what I need throughout the day. The frame feels stable once assembled, and it has handled a surprising amount of weight from my office paperwork without wobbling. One of the metal leg caps arrived with a small cosmetic blemish, but it doesn’t affect the stability or functionality at all and isn’t noticeable once it’s sitting on the desk. Overall, this organizer combines practical storage with a modern industrial look, helps maximize vertical space, and is a great addition for anyone looking to keep a home or office workspace neat and organized.
Desk Organize
I’m always looking for ways to organize and de-clutter and this desk organizer is great for that. It has a nice shelf on top which is sturdy enough to hold books or other heavy objects, as well as three sliding baskets for papers and other sundries.
The organizer comes in sections, but everything is wrapped very well. Corners on the shelving, every piece wrapped separately, and the hardware in its own pouch. This meant it arrived perfectly without any scratches or dents. Everything is very organized with labels and the instructions are easy to follow. It literally took me five minutes to put it together with the included Phillips-head screwdriver.
This unit is strong and holds a lot. The baskets will accommodate letter-sized paper easily and will even hold legal-sized docs. The baskets have narrow mesh wire, so you can throw a lot of different kinds of stuff in there without things falling out: pens, scissors, tape, etc. It also has nice rubber feet to keep it from scratching your desk.
I really like this organizer. Would be ideal as a printer stand. It’s helping me to keep the clutter off of my desk on a day-to-day basis.
Decent organizer with a bunch of little annoyances...
I ordered this to use as a “turn-in” work tray for my classroom. It’ll serve that function well, and it looks much nicer than the traditional flimsy plastic trays I used to have, but there were a bunch of little annoyances while I was putting it together.
The good: relatively easy assembly, great minimalist aesthetic and deep, rich color on the wood veneer. The shelves are deep enough to hold a significant stack of standard 8.5″x11″ paper, and they move freely in the runners. I also like having the option of putting the stop pins in (to prevent the shelves from coming completely out) or leaving them out so I can remove the shelves fully.
The not-so-good: While assembly is easy and relatively intuitive, the fasteners do not match the instructions. The instructions show a “short” screw (H) and a “long” screw (I), but all the included screws are the same length, and one set came in a bag labelled L, which is…not anywhere in the instructions (see images). The only difference between the two sets is that one is a flat-headed set (for the countersunk holes in the top) and the other is pan-headed (for the bottom shelf). This didn’t make it difficult to assemble, but the inaccurate instructions seem like a careless oversight. In addition, the eyelets to attach the bottom shelf are VERY weakly attached to the frame, and one of mine was completely bent when it arrived (see image). I tried to gently set it back, but the joint was already so weak that the piece snapped off with relatively little force. It’ll stay together under normal use, but seriously, it’s a design flaw to make those pieces so easily broken.
Overall: it’s a good-looking organizer with some frustrating flaws. Value for the money is there when it’s on sale, but I don’t know that I’d pay full price.
