Nice
I’m very happy with this set of four canopy weights! They’re sturdy, durable, and provide excellent stability for my canopy, even on windy days. They were easy to attach, fit securely around the canopy legs, and gave me peace of mind during outdoor events. The quality exceeded my expectations, and they’re perfect for parties, markets, sporting events, or camping. Great value for the price, and I would definitely recommend them!
Solid, no-nonsense weights that actually keep your canopy pu
I picked up this set of four 240 lb capacity canopy weights because I’m tired of chasing my pop-up tent across the yard every time the Oklahoma wind decides to throw a tantrum. These things deliver exactly what they promise—real stability without a lot of fuss.
The 1680D Oxford fabric with the inner PVC liner feels genuinely heavy-duty and waterproof. I filled them with a mix of play sand and some gravel from the property, and they handled it without a single leak or tear. Each bag maxes out around 60 lbs, so four of them give you serious hold-down power for a full-size canopy, gazebo, or even a big patio umbrella.
What I liked best is how easy they are to fill. The large top opening and dual zippers make loading quick and clean—no fighting with tiny slots or spilling half your filler on the ground. The built-in carry handles and nylon straps are sturdy too, so once they’re full you can actually move them without dragging everything. They fold down small for storage when empty, which is a nice touch for anyone who doesn’t want four giant bricks taking up garage space year-round.
Attaching them is straightforward: the buckle straps wrap right around the tent legs and cinch down tight. No extra ropes or knots needed. I’ve used them on uneven ground and they stayed put even when a decent gust rolled through.
The only real thing to keep in mind (and this is true of any sandbag weight) is that you have to supply your own filler—sand, rocks, water bottles, whatever works for your situation. At the beach it’s a breeze, but if you’re filling with sand or gravel you’ll need to empty them or haul the weight when you pack up. Not a deal-breaker, just something to plan for.
Overall these are well-made, practical weights that do exactly what they’re supposed to. I’d grab another set if I needed extras for bigger setups. Highly recommended for anyone who actually uses their canopy instead of just setting it up for show.
These are great quality tent or canopy base weights! I knew they would be good, but what I didn’t expect is how easy they were to set up. Just open the spout on each bag and fill them with sand or water and then strap them to the leg or bottom of your tent. It’s all pretty intuitive. You can even fill them with small rocks or even water bottles.
The canvas material is heavy duty and seems like it will last a very long time. Since they are so easy to set up, these would even be great to take to the beach, fishing, camping, or anywhere that you want to set up some shade. The handles make them easy to transport and they provide adequate weight. Each bag can provide up to 60lbs, depending on what you fill it with, and are just as simple to break down. We’ve been using them on our 10×10 pop up when we go camping and the pop up never budges! The price, quality & the ease of use make this canopy weight system easy to recommend!
Heavy-Duty Canopy Weights That Stay Secure
I’m very happy with this canopy weight set. The 1680D heavy-duty construction feels durable and well made, and each weight is easy to fill and attach securely to the canopy legs. Once installed, the canopy feels much more stable, even on breezy days.
The straps are strong, the stitching is solid, and the weights fit snugly without slipping. They’re also easy to transport and store when not in use.
If you’re looking for reliable, high-quality canopy weights for outdoor events, camping, markets, or sports activities, I highly recommend this set. Great value and exactly as described!
Good quality weight bags. Make more sense in some situations than others.
I grabbed these to try out with our four post easy setup shade canopy that we take to the beach at a lake close by. The bags themselves seem to be really well made, and the materials all seem pretty heavy-duty and durable. The main body is a heavy woven nylon with a PVC coating on the inside. And the straps are all tough nylon webbing.
Since we tried them at a lake, it was easy enough to just fill them with sand from the beach. Once you fill them up with sand though, they are quite heavy, so make sure you are close to where you will be using them. They did do their job well.. the lake we visit does get quite a bit of wind a lot of the time, and with these clipped around the canopy poles, it didn’t move at all.
I’m not really sure why they included a grommet for a stake. My canopy already has holes in the feet for stakes, so I would just use those if I wanted to stake it down. The point of having these heavy sand-filled bags is so you don’t have to stake it.. or if you aren’t able to because stakes wouldn’t hold in soft sand/ground or whatever. But, I did end up using the grommets to hang the bags on a peg on some slat wall hooks in the garage, so they work good for that.
Anyway, I like them, especially for the beach. I don’t know that I’d use them camping, since you can usually just stake things down when the ground is more firm rather than finding stuff to fill these. And I most likely wouldn’t use them at home with the patio umbrella, since the umbrella base weights generally work better and are less hassle. But for the beach, these are great, and we will use them a lot!
Heavy-Duty Canopy Weights with Excellent Stability
This set of four canopy weights is an excellent way to keep pop-up tents, canopies, gazebos, patio umbrellas, and other outdoor equipment securely anchored. Each bag holds up to 60 pounds, providing a total capacity of 240 pounds for outstanding stability in windy conditions. The generous size offers plenty of room for sand, gravel, dirt, or water, making them adaptable to a variety of outdoor setups.
The 1680D Oxford fabric is thick, rugged, and built for long-term use, while the PVC waterproof lining helps keep moisture out and allows the bags to perform reliably in rainy conditions. The overall material construction feels high-quality and durable, making these weights well-suited for frequent outdoor use.
The large fill openings and dual zippered compartments make filling and emptying quick and convenient. The zippers glide smoothly and feel strong enough for repeated use without concern. Once filled, the adjustable buckle straps wrap securely around canopy legs, providing excellent functionality and keeping the weights firmly in place without the need for extra ropes or complicated installation.
Despite their impressive weight capacity, the bags are lightweight when empty and fold flat for compact storage. They’re a dependable solution for keeping outdoor shelters stable and secure in a wide range of conditions.
