I would actually rate this product 4.5 stars. I rounded up to 5 stars because it was better 4. The machine itself is definitely a 5 star. The quick start guide that came with it must be for a different model. It says you should adjust the wheels for a larger pool, but there is nowhere to make an adjustment. It also seemed to indicate you could use iphone app to make adjustments, but this model is not even list in the app (strike 2). But, it was simple to put together (push 2 brushes in place and tie string to handle and your done). It was ready and fully charged out of the box. The battery lasted a full 90 mins. This is a brand new pool and no debris in bottom visual to the naked eye. But, to my surprise it found quite a bit of dirt in the pool (see photos). Alll in all seems to be a great little product at $160 compared to other machines at Walmart and Sam’s Club ranging $400 to $1,000. The $160 was money well spent. I will mention one more thing. After plugging in to recharge the battery the unit flashed red all night. My expectations was it would turn to solid green when finished in about 3 hours (as indicated in the quick start guide). But, that didn’t happen. I had to unplug the unit, press the power button on the machine until ref light went out, then plug it back in and then the solid green light came on indicating it was fully charged. My guess is, when a recharge is needed, plug the unit in. Press the power button once. Then let it charge. Otherwise, do what I did, let it charge 3 hours, then press the power button, plug back in and see if it is fully charged. I will see what happens when I go to charge it a second time.
I’ve been really impressed with this pool vacuum so far. It was easy to set up, charges quickly, and does a great job picking up dirt, sand, and debris from the bottom of my above-ground pool. The hook attachment makes it simple to retrieve when it’s finished cleaning. It saves me a lot of time compared to manual vacuuming, and the battery life is more than enough for my pool. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an easy, hassle-free way to keep their pool clean!
easy to use, suction is great, easy to clean out, fun to watch and a real time saver- doesn’t get it 100% clean, but it does a darn good job and it beats getting out the hose and slowly dragging your vacuum along!!
This pool vacuum hook performed its function perfectly. It is made of sturdy material, installs easily, and fits well with compatible equipment. It makes removing or moving the pool cleaning robot much easier, without having to put your hands in the water. For the price, it offers great quality and feels durable. It is definitely an excellent purchase if you need to replace the original hook. I recommend it.
Very simple to use and it far exceeded my expectations. I have a 16 ft round above ground pool and it definitely gets everything from the bottom. I researched so many different cordless pool vacuum pool cleaners and for the price this one kept coming out on top. Definitely made the right decision.
This does a great job cleaning our above ground pool. Before we ever used it, I had read other reviews that said make sure all the wrinkles are out of the bottom of your pool, so we drained ours and got the wrinkles all out. It has worked great for us!
